[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this gazebo assembled in a few weeks as it was a weekend project. The most difficult part to the assembly was getting the roof up. Prepare to have 3 people assist, because we were unable to do it with 2. Otherwise, assembly was pretty straight forward and it went together well. The gazebo is great in the summer. We installed a sun shade for those sunny evenings and you can sit under the gazebo almost any time of the day. The material is sturdy and well made. We are thinking about purchasing another one to use for the BBQ area.

Great value for the money. Gazebo is well constructed and provides a great addition to any home. Word of caution...don't use GoConfigure for installation. Our experience was horrible! It took approximately six weeks to get someone scheduled for installation, and the installers were terrible. We used the app thumbtack to hire a crew to install our gazebo.

My wife and I with some assistance from the grandson were able to assemble this in one weekend. The instructions were very straightforward and components were mostly manageable from and assembly and with perspective. Yep we utilized the grandsons strength and height to get the roof assembled and in position. All within our expectations and abilities. It adds some beauty to an already beautiful view.

This review is overdue by a month but I wanted to wait until I had the some other work around the pool area completed before I posted photos. Before I start, a local builder quoted me over $35K for a gazebo build – with a start date of fall of 2023. I searched online and Backyard Discovery had some great looking products. We selected the 16x12 Barrington Gazebo. First, the online purchasing experience easy and intuitive. (10/10) I selected the assembly option which is performed by a company called Go Configure (more on that later). Communication from Backyard Discovery was great and they were very clear and concise on delivery dates. (10/10) The actual delivery was performed exactly as promised and they even placed the boxes in my garage for safekeeping. The boxes are huge so unless you have helpers, I recommend you clear a space in your garage or other covered area in advance of delivery and have them put it there for you (if you can). Our driver was awesome and called in advance of delivery and then could not have been more pleasant and helpful. I wish I remembered the company to give them props. (10/10) Next, the assembly was scheduled through Go Configure. I read some pretty bad reviews online about them so I was worried. However, they scheduled the assembly a week or so after the gazebo was delivered and called me in advance to let me know a spot opened up earlier. I grabbed the opening. The folks at Go Configure were great with communication with both calls and texts. (10/10). The assembly team showed up as promised early on a Saturday. A team of 3 men were in the crew. They moved the enormous boxes to the assembly area from my garage and proceeded to unbox and set up. I looked out the window and in an hour or so the frame was up. In another hour a large portion of the roof was in place. In less than 4 hours they had completed the assembly. This team was outstanding. They were highly skilled and had done this many times before. I can’t say enough good things about the team and my experience with Go Configure. We are in the DFW area, so we may just have a really great territory for the company. I can’t say how it works in other regions but if you get the crew we got, it will be a flawless experience. They never stopped until the job was done and done way beyond my expectations. (10/10) We had a bunch of other expensive work done on our pool area before the gazebo went in but the amazing thing is that we are far more happy with the gazebo from Backyard Discovery than anything else done. I did put some pavers around the base supports to enhance the look a bit and installed a TV and ceiling fans but the gazebo construction made this a breeze. We get a ton of compliments and more importantly – a ton of use and enjoyment from the gazebo. Thank you Backyard Discovery and Go Configure for making this dream a reality. There is not one thing that could have been done better – truly flawless. By the way, this is not a paid review, we are a real family who randomly found Backyard Discovery online – I am as shocked as you may be that this went so perfectly.

We’re so happy we purchased this particular cedar gazebo. It is beautiful and sturdy. We chose this one for its durability and the ability of the steel roof to handle snow accumulation. Our GoConfigure two-man crew completed assembly in just four hours!! They were very knowledgeable and professional. This gazebo is a backyard statement- very inviting and the cedar smells wonderful. We are totally satisfied with our purchase. It’s our new three season hang-out space!

I spent countless hours researching gazebos. I searched all over for a very high quality gazebo that would last a long time and that looked great on the new patio I just installed. I stumbled on this gazebo on display at a store by me and I was really impressed with how well the structure was made. Even though it is a dark walnut stain, it had an ever-so-slight hue of red color on a couple of the posts while my wife and I were looking at it in the store. Also, we were looking for something that had a black roof as opposed to a dark brown. So my wife and I decided to keep looking for another option. We looked at other brands which was aesthetically exactly what we were looking for (natural light wood tone with black roof). However, the quality was no where near this. From the max snow load to the wind certification of 100mph, and the impressive quality of the steel roof and cedar, there really was no competition. As you can see from the pictures, there is no red hue at all and it really looks awesome against the gray paving stones I have. CONS: There was a couple nicks and scratches, as well as some waviness in the roof. Also, it comes with screws to bolt into the ground, which is an optional step. The screws to anchor it to the ground were not as high quality as the rest of the structure, so I bought concrete screw anchors (1/4” DIA. x1-3/4” L). They worked out great. Lastly, I love the electric hookup, but the cord was a little short for where we needed it to go by a foot or two. It would be great if the cord length could be adjusted. There are workarounds for this like placing the electric panel lower, so it’s not the end of the world. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase!

We live in Indiana- strong winds sometimes. So we did our research and saw this Gazebo first time in Sams Club. We compared it with various Gazebos from other companies but every time it came out as a winner. Very solid build and of high quality. We recommend taking the professional installation service as well. Two people came to install this- it took them 5 hours. They also shared people with some handyman skills have started it and then have called them to complete it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well built product and the directions are very detailed with all parts labeled. All of the metal roofing is protected by plastic film to reduce scratches during shipping. There are 5 boxes of parts which took me a weekend to assemble by myself with the exception of lifting the roof up. I used different anchors in my concrete to fasten instead of the screws that came with the kit. I also did not put the metal roof trim over the top of the roof panels like instructed, I put it under the roof panel which is more like a drip edge. The reason I did this was to avoid leaves, sticks, and acorns from getting stuck between the roof and the roof trim. The trim did not have to be cut to install this was, I will include a picture.

Got a quote from a contractor for a 10x10 gazebo and was quoted $14,000+. We found this and for the price it was worth a try. There were some very slight imperfections on the wood when arrived (from shipping co.). I was able to assemble mostly everything myself. Lifting the roof panels definitely requires 3 people and ladders for each. We bought this as part of building our dream outdoor kitchen. We've had the gazebo for 9 months now through rain and wind and blasting sun, and it still looks brand new. We are very happy with the purchase and for the price you can't beat it!
