I bought this Gazebo about a month ago,  and I must say that I finally was able to enjoy my Gazebo today. That's correct, today.  I really enjoy the quality of the Gazebo, however, I am very frustrated with the third party (GoConfigure) assembly services. Initially, GoConfigure sent two staff to build it. One member of the team was very punctual, meticulous in building their portion of the project. The other members were not efficient in their techniques. The team took two days to build it. Also, I provided specific instructions on the exact placement of my Gazebo. They placed the Gazebo in another spot. One half of the rooftop seemed to be loose as well as several brackets were missing. I found a bracket in the grass. Perhaps, it was left there because they were working very late into the night. One of the legs protrude outward and was not standing straight up. The electrical box was not assembled. Screws for the anchor and other screws were missing as well. Lastly, the staff informed me that they charged extra to include the anchor in place. Although I was promised that they would return on a third day, I never heard back at all. I reached out to their project manager, Phil on several occasions. He informed me that he was very busy and would call me back but he did not. I called their dispatcher, Brittany, with KCT, contracted with GoConfigure, and she informed me that they would come to my  home to fix the problem. They did not show up or call. Although I paid for assembly, the project was not completed. I am very displeased and urge anyone to not agree to get their Gazebo assembled through GoConfigure, you've been warned.   

I just finished assembling this baby and it isn't for the faint of heart or body. Very solid construction with good quality hardware and lumber. Minor imperfections in the cedar (some slight warping) but overall very good material. The most difficult part of the assembly was removing the blue tacky protective plastic from the roof panels and associated parts/hardware. Definitely recommend at least 2 strong people to put this together. The roof installation looked difficult, but it was actually much easier than I expected. This is very nice addition to my patio with enough covered area for 6 Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. I am very happy with this purchase.

Out of the box assembly company contract was given by Sam's club. its been more than 48 hours and i am still waiting for technician to come and install the gazebo. they scheduled sunday, monday and not tuesday but still no show yet. Sam's club is not helpful even we pay them price and it is their job to take care of it. not happy with the process to get this done. paid membership is not worth at my point of view.

This is a well-designed and organized kit for simple construction with minimal experience. It is packaged and labeled well. The instructions are clear except for a couple of places I’ll note below. Delivery: The order arrived in Houston about a week before the estimated delivery date but was not delivered to us until a week after the estimated delivery date. The packages were all in good condition. They are heavy to move around. Assistance & Assembly Time: I was able to do the assembly completely by myself except for two times I needed a few assistants for about ½ hour each time. [Step 7 (Attach 14-ft beams to posts with 10-ft beams attached), Step 12 (Installing roof support), and Step 30-35 (Attach roof panels).] It is a lot of bending over, moving parts, and using a drill to install connectors. I worked on it for about 5 days for about 4 hours each day. Tools: It would help if the Screw Setter H100764 was magnetic to hold screws while lining up with the holes. A hammer drill and 3/16” hammer drill bit are needed for installation on a concrete slab. I used firring strips as spacers between roof panels during construction so they could lay on top of each other during assembly. Positioning: Layout and mark final post positions. We put the gazebo next to our house with a 6” gap between the house gutter and the gazebo roof edge. This was barely enough to pass the roof section up between the gap and took some extra hands to support this during installation. It also made installing the Corner Ridge Cap in Step 40 difficult as this is intended to slide onto Ridge Cap Channel from the bottom. We used pliers to bend open the Corner Ridge Cap on one side to allow this to clip over the Ridge Cap Channel and then bend back in place as best as possible before sliding into position. Assembly Notes: Recommend doing Step 9-11 before Step 7-8 so assistants can help with Step 7 and Step 12 at the same time. I did all roof panel framing before attaching sheeting. (Step 14-18 twice, Step 22-26 twice, then Step 19-21 twice and Step 27-29 twice.) IMPORTANT NOTES: Step 20 & 28 Ridge Cap Channel Assembly – Ensure the bottom end of the channel is above the bottom roof joist to allow space for installation of the Edge Trim Corner Splice in Step 38. THIS IS NOT MENTOINED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. Step 38 Edge Trim Corner Splice Assembly – Ensure Edge Trim Corner Splice is UNDER the Ridge Cap Channel. THIS IS NOT CLEAR IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. This is needed to allow installation of the Corner Ridge Cap in Step 40.

I may be able to revise this review if I can ever get it assembled. I honestly don't know anything about the actual product yet. I received my 5 boxes a month ago. The original assembly was scheduled for 2 weeks ago and nobody showed up or contacted me to let me know until I called them to findout where they were. The same thing happened again today and again, nobody reached out to me. I have taken off of work twice now to be at home for assembly and they have not showed either time and nobody can tell me anything. I paid $800.00 to get this thing assembled. I've had it over a month and it's still in the boxes and I have no idea when I'm going to get it assembled. So much for enjoying it this summer. Worst experience I've ever had buying something like this online.

We bought this to cover a patio area. It looks great. Living in a windy area we liked the fact it could withstand 100 mph wind. Installation was paid for because we are older and could not do it ourselves. The company and workman were great and had it up in less than 4 hours. The only issue that came up was an extra charge of $150 for placing the screws in the ground. If I had known this it would not have been a problem but nothing told me about the extra charge . It is very nice and well priced.

I bought this gazebo April 17, 2023. Installation was finally completed May 26, 2023 by Go Configure the Sam's Club installer for $800 but the gazebo roof was damaged during installation. I was told by the on-site installers they would report the damage and schedule repairs. After several days with no contact I called Go Configure about repairs and they ordered parts to complete the repair after contacting the on-site installers but without coming out to confirm which parts were needed. I received what I thought were the parts for the repair July 11, 2023. I tried to schedule the repair but they could not tell me when the repair would be scheduled. Today is August 15 and I received a call asking if I was available for repairs to be completed tomorrow. Upon opening the parts sent for the repair, none of the parts needed were sent. The entire spring/summer has just about past without the gazebo being completed. The installer says they will still come out tomorrow and see what parts are needed. It has been 4 months since purchase of the product and it is still not completely installed. The long delays to start installation and to complete it are unacceptable. I will now have to wait for the correct parts to arrive and reschedule installation of those parts. I did not purchase this product for next summers use! I would not purchase this gazebo if you plan to have the Sam's Club Installer, Go Configure install it. The service has been horrendous. Buyer beware!

Horrible do not order this product they do not stand behind the installation. Installer showed up 4/23 broke 2 pieces . Came back next day - day 2 did not complete job . Day 3 no show - called no answer - text no response . Called Backyard Discovery and Sam’s nobody is helping me resolve the issue . Absolutely awful do not trust this company they will not help you . The install company Out of The Box won’t answer phone … says send text message … nobody responds

We've had our gazebo for just over a month and we are loving it. I will say, it will take a couple days to assemble. The more help you have, the better! Pay close attention to the assembly instructions in addition to the animations on the BILT app- it will save you a lot of time and give you peace of mind that everything is installed exactly as it should be. Looking forward to summer months by the pool with our new gazebo.

Structure itself is great but instructions to put together are marginal at best, confusing at worse. You tube has videos and i would suggest people use that instead. Took 2 days to put together and this is with 3 people that have done plenty of these. You will need 3 or more for the roof.
