Bought and built this last spring (2022) so it’s now gone thru its first CO winter. This is tougher and even more stylish than I expected! Set up takes time and several people if done yourself, but instructions are clear; there’s an app with 3d guides and vids which helped immensely, and every piece of hardware was clearly packaged and labeled. We get strong winds and this doesn’t creak or move (and we don’t have it attached to the concrete). The electrical box is icing on the cake, perfect for lighting etc. I would say if we did it over again, we probably would have paid for assembly as we’d not built anything of this magnitude prior so it took a string of weekends to build. BUT if you enjoy building things like this, and have the time, it will be worth it.

I was impressed that all the pieces were marked and the directions were easy to follow. I would buy other products form Backyard Discovery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in the spring of '23. Took me a few days of working on it for an hour or two here and there to get it completely put together. Definitely a lot of parts and materials, but the assembly is pretty straight forward. I bought this gazebo as I live on top of a wide open hill in Western New York so the winds and snow are substantial. Wanted a gazebo that would last and take the weight of the snow and high winds. Going into the first winter with it so can't comment yet on the snow, but I have no concerns. This Gazebo is build very well with high quality materials. Worth every penny!

I went with Backyard after lots of research between brands and reviews. My friend had another brand and it caused him all kinds of problems to put together. I hired a buddy that has been a contractor for over 20 years. He has put together and setup other brands himself before ours and they did not go up as well as this one did. The fit and finish in his mind was fantastic. It took 2-3 people (definitely recommend) a solid 1-1/2 days to build it taking our time and verifying everything before just assuming we knew. Instructions were spot on. My buddy said it was with out a doubt the best pre-made gazebo he has ever put together besides building one himself. He said he would recommend this brand 100% unless the customer needs something specific built. It looks amazing and we cannot thank Backyard enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to extend my outdoor living space. It is very sturdy and a wonderful addition. I love sitting outside and watching my 7 children and friends play basketball and ride dirt bikes around. It is my happy place!

After seeing what a great addition my sister had added to her home, it was a no brainer. I bought the exact Gazebo to add to my patio which was the 14-10 Cardova. Like my sister I plan to add a Hot Tub to complete this addition. I would highly recommend this or any ther product Backyard Discovery has available. The price, quality and setup are all 5 stars….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gazebo is used as an extension of our Florida home. It gives us plenty of room to be outdoors even in the brightest days. I had it screened in to keep the mosquitoes out and we use it almost every day. If you are putting this unit together, separate all of the parts and put them in order. It seems a little overwhelming but systematically it works. One mistake we made was to put the roof on by section. Do not do this. The whole roof needs to be set upon the frame for easiest installation. I wish we had taken a video of us two senior citizens putting this together in the Florida summer. He's 74 and I am 66, if we can do it so can you. Our son in law adjusted the roof mistake. And it does not leak or move even in the heaviest coastal winds. In the winter I will be enclosing it and using it for a green house.

I will add I do have good construction/ wood working skills. I was able to get help of one or two people as needed. We are proud of the results and many of my neighbors are also impressed. We would strongly recommend this product.

We’re so happy we purchased this particular cedar gazebo. It is beautiful and sturdy. We chose this one for its durability and the ability of the steel roof to handle snow accumulation. Our GoConfigure two-man crew completed assembly in just four hours!! They were very knowledgeable and professional. This gazebo is a backyard statement- very inviting and the cedar smells wonderful. We are totally satisfied with our purchase. It’s our new three season hang-out space!
