Short Life Span

Bought less than 2 years ago & now dealing with vertical purple & white lines that pop on every 30-50 seconds. Working with Vizio on refund as warranty is for 3 years. May try the Vizio M series as we have Vizio TV's throughout the house & are familiar.

Unlike Vizio's TV's

Purchased TV from Sam's Club back in June, has worked great until about 3 weeks ago, has developed lines along the bottom of the Screen appearing to be having LED problems called Vizio tried to reset to factory aspects, nothing worked wanted to send tech out but notified Sam's and will be returning this week, have 2 other Vizio's one over 10 yrs never have had any problems with those Vizio's probably a Lemon but have also read that others have had same problem with the 58 in, probably will get another size but Vizios are very reliable and great for the Money, not going to down the product for 1 TV problem, the 1 star for this size TV only.

Bad to worse TV ever

I had to return this TV to the store because it constantly lost the internet signal and the picture was always washed out the few times it did work. Bought the bigger size Vizio and it has an excellent picture but it always loses the internet connection again. Checked my internet speed and I have 70 mbps, (Live just outside of town). My router is located 10 ft. away from the tv. Also they keep updating the menu and now I have a drop down menu that I have to opt out of just to watch TV. Originally, it would display the antenna channel in the upper left hand of the screen, but when they upgraded it you no longer know what channel you are watching without seeing everything that every site wants to offer you. They have opted to offer you all kinds of content, but can't keep the internet connection long enough to watch it. It replaced an LG tv that went bad (old age) and never had any problems. When you turned it on it automatically went to the last (antenna) channel that you had when you turned it off. Vizio has a lot of drop down menus to even get a channel. Form your own opinion but I will not own another Vizio unless some serious changes are made!

Issues powering on the TV

I bought this VIZIO 58" Class V-Series 4K LED HDR Smart TV - V585M-K01 on 04/21/2023. I went and picked it up at the store, I was so excited to set it up in my room and start watching movies with my little one. Setting it up was easy. I even bought the VIZIO 5.1 V-Series Home Theater Sound Bar - V51-H6 to go with it just in case it wasn't loud enough for my liking. Unfortunately the next day (04/22) when I tried powering it on with the remote it didn't power on at all (it wasn't the batteries). Then I pressed the power button and nothing as well. So I unplugged it waited for about two minutes and then it powered on. Then the second day (04/23) it gave me the same trouble but you could tell the screen was on just blank. I waited for about ten minutes watching the power button light go on and off hoping it was just updating but nothing happened. I knew I had to disconnect it again and so I did. After a few minutes it powered on just fine. Later on that day it did the same thing after it being off for about 4 hours, it powered on but stayed blank. I did end up looking into other reviews on it and I did see a few issues on the troubleshooting. I'm so sad because I don't think I can return it since the original box was broken down by the time I experienced these issues. I like the size, the price, the colors once you adjust them are nice and the sound is ok enough where I didn't have to add the sound bar but having to connect and disconnect the power cord every-time is something that makes me not want it anymore…

The worst TV I've personally ever owned

This is not a TV I expected. I've had a few other Vizio TVs and have never had the problems like I do with this one. It constantly disconnects from the wifi and I have to reset it every time. It's not the cable provider because the other TVs in the house work fine. Most disappointing TV I've ever purchased. I'm ready to throw it to the curb. I wouldn't even give it to someone else just so I don't make them mad if they used it.

Vizio qaulity issues for 58' smart TV

I would do NO STARS......first one bought developed hot spot and quit working. Tech review noted warranty issue. Replaced with another unit and began getting a black screen when used for a while and got warm this unit was about a year old when this started to happen. Replaced with a new 58" tv 45 days ago and the sound went out. Was replaced under 90 day warranty with same model, and told extended warranty now void and would not transfer over. Look for a different brand.......
