Phillips use to be a great reliable brand when I was young. But now it's one of the worst brands of televisions that you can buy. The sound is horrible, my Toshiba is louder and clearer on low than this Philips TV is on high. Plus the audio leveling does not work so you get blasted when commercials come on then the sound drops as soon as your movie or TV show comes back on. I thought the remote went bad so I bought replacement remotes only to realize that the problem is with the Philips television. I have to press the buttons several times before the TV responds. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on a PHILLIPS TV!!! Phillips must have switched and started using cheaply made parts. At least once a week I have to reset the TV which deletes everything so I have to re-add the streaming services and sign back in again.

It was easy to setup, especially with the ability to use my Android phone to pair with it to complete the setup including connecting to my wifi. The picture quality is so crisp, clear, and vibrant you won't want to turn it off! You can add various apps to the TV from the Google Play Store. I love that once you sign into your Netflix account, it will show you a list of your shows on the home screen, and if there's a new episode it will say that over the thumbnail right on the homescreen! The Google Assistant feature is cool, you can use it to control playback as well as turn on/off the TV, but if you have it on your phone and/or Google Home products, there can be some confusion between devices there. Overall, 5 stars all day, and will definitely recommend this TV! Now I just have to replace all my other TVs with these :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got the Philips 43" Class 4K Ultra HD (2160p) Android Smart LED TV with Google Assistant for my son's bedroom, the size is perfect! Really liked the video quality and sound quality. Very impressed by the remote control is very easy to find what you are looking for with the google assistant. I think that is the best feature of this TV. We don't have any cable tv or satellite connected to tv we use it mostly with apps like Netflix, YouTube or Hulu and a Ps4 gaming console. The cast function is good it does recognize my phone all the time, you can download many apps from the google play store even games for the kids. Overall great tv awesome features!

Setting up was a breeze. All the features are self explanatory. The colors are rich. 4k is beautiful and eye popping to watch on every channels. The remote features are easy to do. I can talk into the remote to my tv which I haven't set up yet. I can set up Alexa to work with my tv and even my phone can work with the tv. Watching the tv at night and just as awesome as watching it during the day. The possibility's are endless. There is so far no other issues since having this tv. I'm in love with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not normally a Philips consumer, but I have to say for this size, for this price, this is a solid TV. My only nitpicks: there is considerable lag on the remote control's arrow buttons. Using them with the on screen keyboard can get a little tedious when having to repress the arrow again and again. Also, you can totally access all the apps you download via the "View Apps" icon, but it says you can add apps to your homescreen, but it doesn't let you add more than Prime and Netflix, which are preloaded. I wish you could customize the homescreen like it says you can.

I love that it's a smart tv so she can watch her YouTube kids on it without using my living room tv. It's a good size and the picture is clear. It has google voice on the remote. I don't really like that the buttons are on the back of the tv. Took me a minute to find them. The remote seems cheaply made. The google voice thing barely works on it and you literally have to point the remote at the tv thing to get it to work. I don't really understand why regular YouTube has to be on it.. so when the google voice thing works, it only searches videos on regular YouTube and not the kids version... I understand it's not a kids tv so that's whatever. Overall it's just a regular ole smart tv... I personally wouldn't get another one.

My only critique is the remote clicks are very loud when pushing the buttons. We have ours hooked up to a fire stick so we don't use the other controller often. Everything else is great! Like that it's easy to set up for streaming channels. We're excited to use this tv and would buy again.
