[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Phillips 50in 4K TV is awesome. It has a very clean and clear picture. Very thin and light weight. The TV comes with a bunch of streaming apps downloaded onto it. You are able to hook up to the internet as well, as long as you have WiFi in your home. Another cool feature is the google assistant. You speak into the remote and the google assistant can change apps or search the weather to name a few things. The TV has 3 HDMI ports so it has plenty of room for all hook ups you may have. Ethernet port for hardwire connection to a router. The remote makes for a very user friendly interface to navigate from the home screen to other apps and even live television. Overall I am very pleased with this TV. It's fun for someone (like myself) that enjoys playing with new technology but also easy enough for someone that is looking for a user friendly platform.

I have to be within a foot or 2 to get the tv to work, it might as well be attached to the tv like the old school corded remotes. I did download the app on my phone and have figured out how to talk to google to control the phone which seems to work much better. I might try buying a universal remote to see if that works any better for me.

Crisp quality, great apps and simply to setup. We don't need a separate device for our online streaming. It has so many amazing features out of the box like the google assistant, netflix etc. Very easy to setup and get it up and running in a few minutes. Would highly recommend it.

Its light and all I had to do was screw the feet on! And then it walks you through the set up very easy and quick! The picture quality on the TV is so nice compared to other TV we've had. Kids are able to navigate through apps and the remote with no problem as well!!! I highly recommend this tv for its great futures!!!! Love love love it!

I love smart TVs, you don't have to attach a second part device that requires a second remote. While the tv itself works perfectly, the stand is a disaster waiting to happen. I really wish that the feet were much sturdier, the screws were in all the way and it just doesn't feel secure! Also I feel like the tv could tip forward at any moment! I think the tv would be 5 stars if the stand wasn't so flimsy.

Worst tv I ever purchased. Stay away from Phillips tv ! Several issues with tv and Phillips ended up sending a tech to my home. This after 20 pone calls or so . The tech replaced circuit boards . Tv worked for about 6 months and now won't even turn on. I'm tossing it in the rubbish as the aggravation isn't even worth dealing with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Philips 50” 4K Ultra HD Android Smart LED TV with Google Assistant for a few weeks now, and I love it! What an amazing device. Since I have only had normal HD televisions in my life, this has blown me away. It really upgraded my mancave! The first thing I noticed was how large the TV was. The biggest TV in my entire house is 32 inches! This was a major improvement. The unboxing was a smooth experience. There was only one small challenge-putting the feet on the TV. I needed to line up the screw with the bottom of the tv. I was following the directions where you put the tv on a table face down, but because of this the screw kept falling off the end of the screw driver. The weight of the device itself was incredibly light. I would even go as far as to say it was just a little bit heavier than the 32 inch that I already had! The sign in process was easier than I expected, but still having to use the remote to type in all of my email / passwords was a little bit of a headache. I would have loved to use the voice control on the remote which would have saved a boat load of time. I have never bought Netflix before, but the remote had a netflix button on it so obviously had to make the purchase at least for a month! The 4k is an amazing view! The HDR is amazing and delivers a crisp and clear. One complaint about the applications that are already installed would be that it has HBO, Netflix, and so many more options except Amazon Prime. I'm not sure if there was a restriction on putting the Amazon Prime TV app on the tv, or if it needs to be downloaded separately, but it would be a very nice addition (I'm still able to use it but I need to stream it through the xbox). Since, it's a smart TV it also has the cool feature of being able to control lights, but I haven't tested that feature out yet. The remote has a good feel to it, but I did finding myself wanting more of a rounded edge. I do wish it was labelled a little bit better (I still don't know what 40% of the buttons do), but it doesn't make that big of a difference in the viewing experience. I can't wait to have some friends over for movie night. Overall, this is an awesome product, and I will gladly look into more Philips brand products from this point going forward. I would highly recommend it.

While I am not too familiar with android products this was very easy to set up. I'm sure having experience with play store will make the process a breeze. The resolution could be a bit better but I'm sure this could be fixed in settings later on. Sound is good and remote is easy to use. Overall my only complaint would be in the graphics and displays but a good tv nonetheless.

It has an amazing screen quality and display, and a high range in sound. The TV is great side and looks great in my living room. It makes you feel like you were part of the "filming" of whatever movie you are watching, or makes you feel like you are "there" when watching a sporting event! My wife loves the fact you can talk to the remote and enjoys being able to check the weather without finding a weather channel. Setup was relatively easy and quick. Would definitely recommend this TV to anyone!
