I purchased this product two weeks ago as a replacement for my Toshiba that’s LCD elements were on the fritz. The colors are deep enough to provide plenty of contrast, and while I’ve heard from some that the AI is too smart? I rather enjoy being able to turn my screen off and still listen to whatever the program is while I fall asleep. Best thing ever, especially, after being in 911 for the last 24 years. No complaints so far!

I love the default picture modes and the option to customize the picture mode for even greater clarity and vivid colors to my taste. Set up is even easier now with a set up wizard. The Magic remote does more than I need it to, so I am still getting used to that. Sound is good, but I typically use my surround sound when watching on this TV.

Great tv for the price. The main complaint I have is that I turned it as bright as possible, and it still is way to dim when the show is a nighttime scene. Most other tv's I have can see night scenes well, but this TV makes it hard to tell what is happening.

When it comes to the picture quality for night scenes, we don't recommend turning your brightness all the way up, as this will make the contrast more difficult to see. We suggest turning off any overhead lights and potentially getting a backlight to help the eyes adjust to darker scenes. Software update ruined the sound.

TV was relatively easy to set up, and worked well until the latest software update. It will no longer interface properly with my LG surround system. Sound system will no longer work without TV internal speakers also needing to be on. Rear speakers no longer work. HDMI (ARC) cable no longer works, although TV interface indicates that it is on. TV only communicates with sound system through Bluetooth but, as stated above, sound system doesn’t work without TV speakers also being on. Volume of TV speakers cannot be adjusted separately. Very disappointed. Will likely return set.
