I have always bought LG tvs. The quality is spot on. I now own three LG television's. I find that the quality and build is exemplary. I bought this one only a few days ago and i have it in my bedroom. The setup is really easy. Picture quality is superb. I highly recommend LG products.

Could not connect to my Dish cable provider and had alot of trouble connecting DVD - WII etc to the TV. HDMI #1 would not accept any device. Had to do an even exchange and get another LG. Had to call support to get other internet functions working. The second TV is working great color and sound. Only issue is the the LG Channel - once I pick a show cannot get out of the function very easily.

Getting a large selection of tv programs. Sound and picture are outstanding. It was easy to setup. In less than 15 minutes I was enjoying my new tv.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG 86 in UR8000 this TV does not disappoint. Very easy to set up lots of apps, easy control, and easy settings. Sound quality is very good as well. I can’t get over the size of the picture and the quality as well. No drag or lag on sporting events.. great value for the money.

It was nice that they didn't have it in the store as then I would have had to haul it home but I ordered and it would have been delivered the next day but being it wasn't in the nearest warehouse it had to be shipped from 2 states away so it did take 1 day longer and was not a problem as I felt that it was at a good price and was an upgrade to the TV I was currently using.

Negative: WEB OS is super slow, some time you need to wait 10 seconds to open settings or apps, not all apps are available on WEB OS, Installation of apps fails many time. Decided to return this product.

I’m excited about the AI Television but I really don’t understand The remote control, spastic, uncontrollable, zipping across the screen issues I’m having. There needs to be a way to control the speed of this wheel, and if there is one, I haven’t found it in the guidebook yet I’m still fumbling through that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this TV for our Christmas present to ourselves. While it was fairly easy to assemble and set up, I did find that the TV was fairly complicated to use, with a lot of functions that I still do not use or understand. I also found that it didn't have the accessory connections that I needed for our VHS tape playor or DVD player, so cannot use them now at all. I also cannot set up our sound system that we had from our previous TV since there is no sound output and the LG sound system costs more than the TV did, so that's out of our range. We are still working on understanding how to use the TV and it's many function and station apps. With all of the setups and user guide information on the TV and not a booklet, and us being an older generation, we are struggling to use many of the functions, and even setups. We still have to use 2 remotes, since we have Dish Satellite system, which will shut down after a couple of hours of inactivity, and it will not start up without using the remote for Dish. It's also harder to change channels, look at the guide, etc., for Dish using the LG remote. So that being said, it's not all that we hoped that it would be. The picture quality and overall TV system is quite nice compared to our older TV, but not having our sound bar for a quality sound, not having hookups for our DVD and VHS systems, it is not as useful as our older TV. We still really like the TV itself and the quality though. The price was decent as well. Only time will tell if we will purchase another LG after this one.

We bought this TV 5 weeks ago. Picture is great as is sound. BUT, it’s defective! EVERY 2 minutes it goes Silent for 15 seconds, turns itself off, stays off for 20 seconds, then turns itself back on. Spent about an hour on the phone with Customer Support, where they Hoped they turned off ANY sleep timers. No improvement. Instead of just Exchanging it for a new one, I’m now Waiting for a company to come out to Service it - Which they WONT schedule until the parts they THINK are needed Arrives! Obviously, this TV is more Annoying to WATCH for my Homebound/Handicapped husband than just trying to get himself to ANY other room. WE’RE NOT HAPPY.
