Why they would design this to work only with slow Wi-Fi is beyond me. I would never dream of slowing down our service just for a humidifier, however this doesn't work without a slow connection so I will be returning. Also, it's insane to me that they designed this to not be able to use offline as well.

I have always considered Safety 1st as such a generic brand but this humidifier really hits it out of the park!! It is still reasonably priced, while having so many cool features. I love the app, the fact you can set a humidity level rather than just a pace for the steam to blow at.

Absolutely love the ease of use for this humidifier. HOWEVER, I'm not sure how most reviewers find cleaning so easy. Once any build up occurs in the tank's chimney, it is absolutely impossible to remove. No brush fits in the small crevices, and using white vinegar per the instructions does nothing to remove scale. Afraid I may have to move on to a new product after only 3 weeks (noting that I have cleaned the product weekly).

We have used this for about 16 months now. Initially we liked it, however around 12 months it started making an odd noise and the mist doesn’t stay running. The warranty only covers a year so unfortunately we are just out our money. We also really liked the app. Really disappointed in the overall longevity. We cleaned it regularly, but definitely challenging to clean. We had to purchase another brand for our baby’s room.

I received this smart humidifier in exchange for my opinion. First I'll talk about the disappointing features. When I received the package in the mail it was well wrapped and I was pleased with it. However, when I opened the box I noticed there was no instructions. Instead I had to scan a QR code off the side of the box. After fumbling thru a bunch of nonsense on the manufacturer's website I found where I could download the app. This smart humidifier is mostly controlled by an app. So if you have a sick child you better be prepared. Long gone are the days of waking up, filling a water tank and then plugging it in. Now I will say we only use humidifier when our children are sick. So if you have a long term need this may suit you well. After an hour of downloading the app and trying to sync the thing it started working. It's ok. Again maybe something cool if you use it a lot but for the casual user this isn't the best option. The good. It's aesthetically pleasing. It's a real beauty to look at. The app is neat. If friends and family asked me for a humidifier I wouldn't recommend this but if they asked for a smart humidifier I would probably suggest this one, if a coupon was available.

I love this humidifier and so do my 2 and 4 year old. Their room is kept perfectly comfortable with this smart humidifier and I can control it's most strength, humidity and temp all from my phone. Plus there is a parent lock feature so even if the kids want to play with it, they can't ?? We also really like the top fill feature. You get the alert on your phone and can easily fill it back up. Also the mist strength is facial worthy - way better than other humidifier we've had! Thinking of getting another one for my room.

I have used a humidifier before when my kids were sick or had stuffy noses and have seen first hand how they can help turn restless nights into restful nights. The Safety 1st Smart Humidifier lives up to its name! It's WIFI enabled app connects to the humidifier making it such a smart and convenient product! I can start the humidifier before entering the room so that it's had plenty of time to work before putting the kids to bed. I like how the app also lets me know when the water is getting low and it's time for a refill. It's not overly loud, but instead has a nice, low white noise sound. To add to it's uniqueness, it has a nice, modern look to it that makes you not think twice about leaving it out in the room even when company is over. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality, super convenient humidifier!

Before I even opened the box I was impressed with my new smart humidifier from Safety 1st due to the modern wood Grain and sleek white textures. It will easily blend in with most rooms and decors. I like that the app can control other devices of the same brand also, and that my Alexa can be used for the voice commands. It has touch controls on the front, if you don't want to utilize the smart features. I was surprised to see that it holds a full gallon of water, which means it won't run out in the middle of the night. I get about 3 nights use out of one tank. It also has a tray to put oils/scents which I love since I use mint and eucalyptus when my sinuses are stuffy. There's 3 modes and 3 spray settings so you can customize it to fit your needs. On the connected app you can schedule when you'd like it to run. It's very quiet when turned on and will automatically turn off when the tank is empty, so I don't have to worry about it burning up. And it notifies me when it needs cleaned. Overall I really like it so far and plan to recommend it to anyone looking for a modern smart humidifier.

Best humidifier on the market, as soon as I received it went to try it on. Love how big the water container is, last a really long time with only one full tank. The option to add different oils is an amazing feature. Only issue I had was that the wifi connectivity only works with 2.4 gh. Every network out there no longer comes with this speed and unfortunately I was not able to connect it and use the app. Besides that only flaw I would recommend this to anyone. This one was my 3 humidifier and it's the best one I have had.

We love our new humidifier. It produces just the right amount of mist and I like that I don't need to lift it up everytime to fill water as the tank opens from above so I can just fill it up using a mug. It shows the room temperature as well. It can be connected to phone using the app making it a smart humidifier although we have yet to explore that option. We use it daily in daughter's room and it helps a lot with her nose allergies due to dry California weather. This humidifier was provided to me by Bzzagent for free in exchange of my honest opinion.
