I bought the Estate Rockwell 14.5" luxury plush, Queen, prime only two years ago. For the last six months I have been waking up with neck and back pain. I realized it's because the mattress is sagging in the middle. I'm the only one that ever sleeps in the bed and I only weigh about 140 lbs. Thank goodness there is 10-year warranty. But now I have to go through the hassle of getting a credit and coming up with the difference! I purchased this because it was recommended highly by friends. I'm very disappointed.

I wish I would have be appraised of this in the store. It is not practical for anyone with ordinary strength. I noticed the delivery men even had difficulty lifting it to remove the plastic covering. First, I am one to never change something I like and am comfortable with. I've had my current mattress now for 7 years and I love it and it's the best. Or so I thought before I tried the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop mattress. This mattress is everything I could want. Let's start with its appearance. I got the Queen mattress and the color is Dark blue with 3 gray fleur de lis on it. Almost didn't want to put sheets over it with how regal it looks. It's a thick/deep mattress at about 16 inches with handles on the side to move easier. It also has a pillowtop which is a nice touch. It's smooth and silky to the touch and great quality stitching. It is a firm mattress, but with the soft pillowtop it feels really comfortable. Not so much that you sink in, but definitely enough to be enjoyable. It's not bouncy like coil mattresses and not stiff like the firm foam mattresses. As GoldiLocks would say, "it's just right". I slept on this mattress for 7 days. With this mattress I wake up feeling actually refreshed. I haven't slept a full night in I don't even know how long. Limited tossing and turning as well. Seemed to feel and stay cooler than my old mattress too. On my old mattress I had shoulder pain when I woke up. Now I'm not going to say it's gone, but 75% better for sure. My rating for the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop mattress is an easy 10/10. Amazing product! I've already raves about it to my friends and family. My Dad is coming this weekend to try it out too. Saying goodbye to my old foam mattress and I will be investing in another for my guest room soon. It will be worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like my heading states, the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Firm Pillowtop Queen Mattress is the BEST mattress I've ever owned and slept on. I'm a single mom and my budget for mattresses isn't very much and I'm used to sleeping on mattresses that go flat in a matter of months. That being said, every single night of sleeping on this Stearns & Foster feels like the first and it's been weeks! I'm not a tiny woman, I'm tall and pushing 200lbs. I haven't been making a dent in my new mattress and that makes me so happy! It's not only pretty with the designs, the pillowtop part is super soft and it's honestly the best mattress I've ever slept on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mattress and was trying to decided whether to go with the "soft" or "med firm". In the store where I was shopping, the only one with the pillow top was the "soft" and I neglected to ask if the med firm came with a pillow top. After sleeping on my new mattress for a couple of weeks, I think the med firm with a pillow top would have been the perfect mattress for me, but I am sleeping pretty well on this one, even though when turning over, I awaken a bit as I am sunk in a bit more and it makes turning an effort which occasionally awakens me. Not a fault of the mattress, it's just my experience.

With the Advance Motion adjustable base I can elevate my feet to reduce swelling. I love the soft feel of the mattress. It seems to fit my body and it is comfortable to sleep on. I don't love the depressions. They feel like there is a hole in the mattress. I don't love the rounded top. When I sit on the edge, it feels like I am going to slide off. I could lower the frame, but then I wouldn't be able to store plastic tubs underneath like my former mattress. i am looking forward to getting used to this mattress.

If you often feel your bed is too soft the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top is the mattress for you. I lay on the floor because it help my back but since having this matress, I no longer need to. It is very firm, the firmest matress Ive ever used and it doesn't make me sink down . Since having it, my hips and back no longer have pain. I sleep longer and wake up refreshed and without pain. My previous matress was semi-firm but gave out after a few weeks. It started having dips and was extremely soft. After a few weeks of using the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Ultra Firm Tight Top, it still holds up its firmest. This matress is thick where a box spring would sit you up really high off the floor. I would recommend a bunky board instead of a box spring. If you do enjoy laying on the floor, this is the matress for you! You wont regret it.Definitely recommended this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sterns & Foster sent me this mattress to review. I generally prefer firm mattress but was willing to give this one a try. I didn't know what to expect with a "medium tight top" mattress. It's softer than what I believe a medium should be, however it is very comfortable. It is a deep navy color and very thick, looks very nice. The only negative I have found so far, is that I feel it sleeps a little warmer than my previous mattress. Nothing a little change in the room temperature couldn't fix though.

Was told this was a great mattress and maybe it is for a single person who is 90 lbs. My spouse and I sleep close to each other and we sink. It is very uncomfortable to wake up in the middle of the night and feel like we are in a hole. We have more than one home so by the time we figured out how uncomfortable I was past the time to exchange. After 15 months we can't take it. Currently buying a new mattress and buying a new bed frame so I can move our bed to the guest room. Waste of money for sure.

First time sleeping on the new mattress. I thought it would be more firm than it is. The same mattress in the store seemed to be a bit more firm. I experienced a very restful sleep and woke up without the usual aches and pains that I had from my ten year old Sealy mattress. I like that it is a much thicker mattress than my previous mattress so I'm hoping it holds up much better and the side doesn't crush down from sitting on the side of the bed as my old mattress did. Only time will tell. The only thing that I don't like at this point is the cost of the mattress. The price was a deterrent until S&F offered a nice discount. I 'm hoping that the old saying, "you get what you pay for", holds true for my new mattress.
