I currently own a Drive 51 and Drive 52. The Drive 53 is head and shoulders above its predecessors. Calculates faster and has improved software. Very happy with my purchase!

I have had several Tom Tom's in the past they never performed as well as This Garmin 53, Right out of the box I could tell it was a much better unit. I downloaded all the updates then took a 650-mile trip next day and it preformed flawless.

Nice unit, but the screen is a bit small not allowing for some info I was used to having. The clock is only am/pm, I am used to the 24-hour clock! Overall, I recommend it!

Works great when used. Updates can only be done on windows 10. Not a good thing when all you have is windows 11. Have to borrow a computer for updates. Per Garmin working on issue.?

I purchased this Garmin for a trip I'm on now. Travel is fine. I'm a little slow at entering new addresses and can be frustrating as I'm guessing how to enter every time, I need more training (:

I had an older model and needed to upgrade. I purchased an off brand and boy was that a mistake. Thankfully I was able to get a refund. I ordered a new Garmin and havent looked back.

Addition to my GPS garage. I was tired of moving units around. Wish it had voice command, but the price was right for a spare unit,?

I replaced an older model Garmin with the Garmin Drive 53, it’s so much easier to use and I’m very pleased with it.

It seems to find satellites much faster than the older models, but it still doesn’t have all the new streets and speed limits up-to-date.

Unit is faster than my other units . Little different than the other units . Like to have traffic alerts .
