We needed to replace an older TV for the living room due to our old set starting to have problems. All I can say is wow! The picture quality is much better than any other set we've had before. I find myself muting the set every so often because of how realistic the sounds are. I have to see if the sirens are on TV or coming down the street. I love how the apps update without having to manually update them. We couldn't have made a better choice.

The color and picture are great, but when it is on a solid background or slow-moving somewhat solid background image, you can see vertical lines (shadow\light lines) about 4 inches wide. I don't know if it is how it lit because you can kind of see light around the edges where the differences are. I do love the LG channels for free!
