Very hard to use; disappointing

Very disappointed w/ this TV. I would quickly return to old tv if I did not need to pay a friend to hook it up. My analog tv in other room is far easier to use. New 50" is hard to turn on/off, use mute, connect. All buttons must be pushed exactly for correct interval. Turn on gives what 14 icons or so of no interest. How about just on/off, hd settings, and connections. I do not need and did not ask for all the options d This is 3rd attempt to respond to your survey.

Worst TV Ever Made

worst TV ever purchased. Horrific picture quality and lack of settings to adjust it made it unwatchable. Took it down within 36 hours and bought a much higher quality TV from a different manufacturer. The fact Samsung would make & sell something so bad regardless of the price is ridiculous and enough proof they don't care about their customers hard earned money.

Extremely Poor Volume

Our Samsung TV picture is good, thus the two stars, however the sound quality is AWFUL!!! We have to turn up the volume until it’s almost at max and many times I’ll put my AirPods in for better volume. So so unfortunate as now we have to spend additional dollars for a volume boost bar and speakers so this purchase was no deal at all!!!

Locks up multiple times a day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Integrations and apps do not work well with this tv. Sling constantly needs to be rebooted. Have had to delete most apps including system apprs to get a better function. Cache is just not managed right.

unhappycustomer, If apps are not working correctly, we recommend first checking for firmware updates on your TV. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Software Update. If you do have the latest firmware, then you can next try a cold boot. There are two ways to cold boot your TV: 1) Using the Remote: For most people, the easiest way is to hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds. 2) Using the Plug: If you do not have the remote, unplug your TV from the wall outlet or surge protector, leave it unplugged for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Problem with the remote and dropping app

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The remote that came with the TV works ok if your are within 10 ft and in front of it. Would prefer a remote with no's or guide for selections If you are farther away or at a angle remote does not work. Install new batteries still same. I have the Spectrum TV app loaded and when you change to another app, i sometime have to delete Spectrum TV app and reload to watch stations. Don't know why the Samsung TV drops the Spectrum TV app.

Disappointed

I have always purchased and had no issues with my Samsung TV' I purchased this model almost a year ago and just recently started having issues with it, I am using it but as I said some of the feature are not working and hesitate to purchase another Samsung

QR code scam

Here is my only disappointment with my new Samsung. During the set up while creating a username and password, there was a QR code displayed on the television screen as part of the process. This was a QR code scam that resulted in being redirected to a third party that then charged my credit card nine times over the next 4 months.

Samsung nothing else

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tv was bought for my 12year olds bedroom as his previous was old and damaged by child guest one visit. I have own this brand tv for many years and no issues with them and usually outlast homes or apartments lived in. He is into gaming and the clarity and with fiber optic service makes a good tv even better. Nothing to complain about with this brand and I plan for it to last at least ten years as they usually do.
