Verified Purchase

It’s a Samsung

It hooked right up when we plugged in our cable box.

What's not to like about Samsung TV it's great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung TV is like a big computer if you're interested technology it's definitely a TV to get. I have nothing bad to say about Samsung TV. That's the only TV that I buy wouldn't have any other way.

Honest Opinion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first-time buyer who recently picked up the Samsung DU6900 Crystal UHD 4K TV, I found it to be a pleasant surprise for the price. Setting it up was straightforward—the instructions were clear, the stand attached easily, and connecting to Wi-Fi took just a few minutes. The picture quality immediately stood out: colors appear vibrant and sharp, especially with streaming shows or 4K content, and everything looks much clearer than my old TV. In a living room with normal lighting, it handles reflections well and stays bright enough during the day. Gaming feels responsive with very little delay, which was great when I tried it with a console. The Tizen smart system is simple to navigate, with all the major apps like Netflix and YouTube loading quickly and voice control working reliably for basic searches. On the downside, the built-in speakers provide decent volume but lack real depth, so I plan to add a soundbar later for better audio. In darker rooms, blacks do not get truly deep and can look a bit grayish, and sitting off to the side dims the image noticeably. Overall, as someone new to buying a modern 4K TV, I am satisfied—it delivers solid everyday performance without complexity or disappointment, making it a worthwhile choice for casual viewing, streaming, and light gaming in a typical home setup.

Great TV, sound could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been using the 75" for about a year, handles light rooms very well and color accuracy is great, the sound could be better though. Tries to project more than worry about clarity, can seem to hear it better in the next room over.

Normal features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My television has a quality picture and supports Dolby atmos sound which is important to me. However, I have a problem with the television buffering while watching live telecasts. I have contacted service and discussed this issue and nothing suggested by the support team worked. I have 4 televisions in my home and the only device I have this problem with is the Samsung. I have given up trying to fix the problem but this will be my last Samsung product.

A beautiful, frustrating mess

Great hardware brought down by awful programming The picture is clear, but the UI is cumbersome, lethargic, and just altogether bad. Most times, I will turn on my TV and select the app I would like to use, only for the TV to decide I must not have wanted to, say, watch YouTube, but apparently resume the end in credits to whatever I was watching on Netflix last night. I use an Xbox and switch between a TV in my bedroom and the living room. Every time I go to select the Xbox input on the Samsung, its a chore filled with back sliding. First, the TV will not necessarily recognize that a device is plugged in. So, you manually switch to it, and then it recognizes you have one of the most common devices in the country plugged in, so naturally it... takes you to their native gaming hub, where your Xbox is labeled as an input (even though you had already selected it) only their Hub has its own console-less Xbox experience that uses the exact same icon. I can't think of why I would ever want to be on their gaming hub, since I definitely already have a console, but there's even more frustrating news. Suppose your wife comes home and she wants to watch her Netflix show again. So you press "home" on the remote 7 times before you remember, ahh yes, "Gaming hub" is where "home" goes, and wont take you to the regular Home. Compare to my ancient TCL roku TV where you can pin HDMI 1 - even if nothing is plugged in - as a channel/app right next to YouTube, Netflix, whatever. I love my Samsung phone, my Samsung soundboard, and my Samsung earbuds, I really thought I would love my Samsung TV. What a huge disappointment.

Works ok, but definitely not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first the tv seemed great, but over time, it has glitchy issues with the apps. Some apps will work most of the time, while others always seem to be a fight to get to work, until I give up and use a different tv in the home. The controller is a little confusing, and I can never figure out how to get o the live TV and the guide or also how to get to the antenna. Just not very easy to work with.
