This umbrella is a great size. The base seems very high quality. The design of the umbrella would be good for rain to fall off. Easy to crank and could fit a lot of people under it

The navy and blue stripe print on the umbrella looks nice. I like that it is easy to crank open and close. I also like that you can adjust the umbrella angle.

Good value for size and quality

Good product the lower pole going to base is not super heavy. That's good and bad. It makes the umbrella easy to handle but also makes it a little flimsy. Upper portion and umbrella is strong.

it's not very sturdy when opening it up. The clicking sound it makes while opening it up is very annoying. However it has a smooth and quite close. Also has a good sized coverage area.

Blows over in a slight breeze

Bought two a few months ago. Used them for the first time today with the matching base. A bit breezy on the patio. One blew over within five minutes and two of the rods that support the canopy bent about 45 degrees. Tried to bend them straight gently. They both snapped. There went $130. So much for sitting outside this summer.

Ridiculous store policy

Bought this umbrella online because I wanted a specific color not available in the store. Right after my purchase it went on sale for $30 less. When I took it in for a price adjustment I was told I would have to return it and pick out another from the store stock. I explained to them that I wanted that color umbrella and it wasn’t available in the store. They would not let me have this umbrella because I bought it online….. said it had to go into “damaged goods.” (It was never out of the box) Needless to say I left without my umbrella. This policy is absolutely ridiculous!!

Almost perfect.

We bought 5 of these umbrellas one year ago. I have them in ShadeMobile bronze bases which I absolutely love (usa made, fill with sand and bricks.) Our umbrellas were in use for 3 months and then stored away. The sunbrella fabric is top notch quality. The Haze color is an ever so slightly pale blue gray— they look so pretty next to our pool! We also have a couple of (Indigo) navy that look very classy on our brick patio. The problem is within a short time last year, they began tilting before fully up. The fabric cannot stretch tight until the umbrella is fully extended… it is supposed to tilt after it is fully up, not before… so you have to reverse crank it back some to straighten it back up and then stand on your tip toes and support the top manually to keep it straight so it cannot tilt while you crank it up with the other hand— impossible for me at 5’1. My 6’ husband has to do it. Once you get it fully up, then you can stop holding it up and just crank a bit more to tilt. All 5 umbrellas now have to be done this way so they can fully raise and open before tilting. Very frustrating. I don’t recommend these until you intend to raise them and leave them set up… if you open and close once a day, this too will happen to you in a short time, but as long as you’re at least 5’6”, you can workaround that problem . We absolutely love the quality otherwise.. The 10’ coverage is phenomenal, and although the tilt issue makes them a pain in the rear, the tilt is fabulous to have in the afternoon. They have been up in strong winds and have zero damage. Zero fading of fabric.

Half the quality it used to be for the same price

I am incredibly disappointed in the cheap quality of this umbrella! I've had one of these for 6 years and it was the heaviest highest quality on the market. When I replaced it after wind took it flying, I was shocked at the difference in quality. Very cheaply made compared to high quality I'm used to for the price! Disappointed! Fabric is maybe 1/3 the thickeness and the frame as well, each part is maybe 1/3 the thickness, lightweight, cheap! I will look elsewhere in the future. Extremely disapointed!

Pool umbrellas

Worthless ...

We are Done !!! We have built in holders for 4 umbrellas around our pool . We have now lost 6 of these umbrellas over the last few years due to poles bending . We even reinforced them last year by putting some metal tie rods in the poles . We put them in the holders yesterday for Memorial Day and had to lower the umbrellas quickly due to light wind. Had a storm come through last night and 3 poles bent. The tops are simply too heavy for the cheap poles. The umbrellas are great, the bottom poles are worthless . I have called the manufacturer and Sam's and they just say you have to buy a new umbrella. We have done that SIX TIMES ...WE ARE OFFICIALLY THROWING IN THE TOWEL .
