[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ever since graduating from college and joining the workforce, I've been growing out my beard. That may seem ironic considering I'm a white collar worker, but this means I need to keep my beard maintained with some regularity. While I haven't yet had a use for some of the longer trimming attachments (my beard isn't THAT long...yet), I've testing out a few of the smaller ones and found that this Braun Beard Trimmer does a solid job of cutting through my dense, coarse beard hair without much hesitation. It's simple to use, effective, easy enough to clean, fits comfortably in my hand, holds a decent charge, and gives me an even, manicured trim on days I need to appear like I'm trying. I appreciate that this kit came with a Gillette razor + refills, as I will occasionally need a razor to shave my face entirely (and let's be real, razors are expensive). This kit seems well-priced and I can see this lasting me at least several years, barring any random mechanical issues or plastic failures. I don't have much experience using other trimmers, but for my first foray, I'm pleased. I'll post another review if I ever muster up the enthusiasm to test this on my head.

I'm pretty disappointed with the trimmer. There are two main reasons for this. This first and most important is that is just doesn't trim well. My Panasonic that I was going to replace would trim my beard and moustache in 1-2 passes. The Series 9 Braun took so many that I actually gave up and went back to the Panasonic on the first use. The second is that it uses a new charging port. I got it initially with the expectation of being able to use the same charger and my razor and toothbrush, which would have simplified travel a lot. Braun has unfortunately decided to use a different charging port for this one. The charging port is a small issue compared to the poor performance of the product, though. Very disappointed given how much I like my other Braun products. Also, the 100 day guarantee is nearly worthless. You pay to send it back, they'll think about it for 2 months, then send you a prepaid debit card you'll never be able to use all the funds on. That's the part that stings the most. It's also disappointing it's not made in Germany like my series 9 toothbrush and razor. The trimmer does look nice, for what it's worth.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From opening the package, the Braun BT7020 has a very high quality feel and look. The product charged in a reasonable amount of time and has very good battery life. The blades have a very good feel to them and did not cause any nicks or cuts. With the attachments included, the ability to get a close shave isn't there. Outside of that, it does a great job cutting and trimming.

I do prefer the precision of my current trimmer more, however I would recommend the Braun Trimmer to others.

The charge lasts more than long enough and I have used it many times. I like that it comes with different comb attachments for different types of trimming. Its definitely and all in one trimmer.

The different settings make switching from hair to beard so easy and clean up is a breeze. Would recommend this product to anyone!

Replaced my 20 year old Braun. I didn’t realize I needed this until I bought it. Such an upgrade. Perfect for short stubble. Hight quality, great features, great charge. Not part of this review, Braun, if you had a premium edition that’s made purely out of stainless and such, I’d definitely buy it.

I most use it to trim my beard and to go over areas that need a quick fix. This set has done nothing but good for me. The way it fits in my hand is great and it is super easy to use. They have made it super easy to change the setting between sizes, which makes it easier to switch tasks and different parts of the beard. It has become my new favorite beard trimmer.
