Very sturdy and will last forever I am sure but what a pain to put together and one piece was slightly bent. Good thing for a strong husband to bend it back. That thing will be staying upstairs for years to come because I can’t imagine breaking it all back down to move (comes in a million pieces).

First memory foam bed. Got metal box spring, pillows, mattress protector, and original GhostBed in king size. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We loved our previous queen pillow top, but opted to try a new bed when we moved to a bigger home. GhostBed has a great warranty and money back guarantee which is why we went with them. Exceeded expectations and will recommend.

I was pretty curious how Fed Ex was going to bring a king sized platform to my door. When a long box taped together in the middle showed up I had myself a good chuckle. The shipping method is kinda funny but it works. Once you get it inside, and trust me, it takes some man handling to wield a long, heavy box the assembly is pretty straight forward. I will say though, their holes did not line up, not even close. I think for honesty's sake they aught just accept that you need a drill to really set up this platform right. The wood is pine and soft and the screws have plenty ability but I couldn't imagine putting it together with a screw driver. Just get a 12 or 14v drill and the whole thing takes less than an hour. That's about it. Its a platform for a bed.

What surprised me about this foundation is that it really was very easy to put together. I had my three year old grandson "help" me. I lined up the bars and he pushed them down. It is very sturdy. One thing I don't like however are the legs are directly at the end of the frame. Directly in the corners and on the side of the bed. Meaning if you walk by too close you will hit your toes.

After a lot of research and reading MANY online reviews, we decided to order the ghost bed foundation to replace a creaky old wooden bed frame. At first we were thrilled. It was comfortable, felt sturdy, and most importantly of all, it was completely silent! Alas, after just a week the squeaks and creaks started up. Very quickly it got increasingly worse. After two weeks it was creaking worse than the frame it was meant to replace. I tried tightening everything, but that only helped a little, and only temporarily. Eventually I took the whole thing apart and put it back together again and made sure everything was correct and tight. It was silent again! But after another couple of weeks the creaking started back up. Took it apart and put it back together one more time, but neither of us can even roll over at night now without making a whole racket. I am going to try rebuilding it one more time with locking washers, but I don't have high hopes at this point. Unfortunately the bed frames don't come with the sleep trial, and there are no refunds or returns. Hoping the third rebuild is the charm, but it seems we might just be stuck with a new, more expensive creaky bed. :/

I just finished setting up my GhostBed. It took me a whole day to get it completed. The reason was that the GhostBed Foundation was my worst experience ever (for a 'some assembly required' product). The assembly more resembled a DIY project. Materials used in the foundation frame were substandard, warped, split, broken and cracked lumber. Slats are supposed to be 2 3/8" inches wide, but if they are cracked, or missing some width, with bark still attached, GhostBed will still use them. Manufacturing tolerances don't exist since Corner Bracket connectors between end rails and side rails, as well as center rail connectors were misaligned, out of square, and up to 5/8" off from where they were supposed to be. The slats to hold up the mattress weren't long enough, and any pre drilled holes (if they were drilled at all), weren't in the right place to intersect and connect to the center rails below. When assembled (as manufactured), neither of 2 center braces, and one of side rails did not fit. Three of the rails (out of 4) were a full 5/8s of an inch above the end rails when they should have been completely flush. how After calling GhostBed customer service twice on the matter, I told by their on line voice mail, that there would only be a 3-minute wait (and on my second call, a 4-minute wait), but I was disconnected both times after waiting 20 minutes or longer before being disconnected. Realizing that it took 11 days for the bed to arrive after I ordered it, and I didn't not want to wait any longer for another foundation to arrive that may be in a similar state of poor quality, I decided to take the foundation all apart and re-drill, and rebuild it myself from scratch. I needed to re-glue several load bearing rails because they were cracked completely through, and re-drill more than 1/2 of the predrilled slat holes that hold the mattress up. I also had to re-drill and remount corner brackets and center rail connectors so that the frame would fit together properly and sit flat on flat bed frame. GhostBed may make great Mattresses, and that's why people buy them, but don't buy a GhostBed Foundation for their Foundation will not meet your expectations. Most buyers would be appalled. I suggest that GhostBed be more selective in its lumber sourcing, and start using a Jig in its Foundation manufacturing process to ensure that there is some semblance conformity and quality that comes from your factories.

I ordered and timely received a twin GhostBed foundation. It arrived on time, all the pieces were included, and it took very little time to put together. The guest who used it was extremely satisfied (and she's a tough critic), and liked it much better than the previous foundation we were using. I put together an IKEA foundation aa few years ago, and this GhostBed was far simpler, easier, and a lot more stable. I am sure my son also appreciated that the ease and simplicity of assembly kept my frustration level low. The only improvement off hand I can come up with is to make the print embedded with the pictures in the directions a bit larger. I recommend this foundation for someone who wants a quick, easy to assemble, stable foundation. It also comes with headboard brackets (that I didn't use) if you want to connect a headboard.

I was using a standardly available two piece foldable platform for my mattress and it felt shaky, lumpy and squeaked with the barest of movements. I searched the internet for weeks trying to find something stable, solid and functional in the California King size - which is not easy to find! I found the ghost bed ad online and proceeded to read every single available review and thought that it might be too good to be true. It's not !! This ghost bed All-in-one foundation is not only the most comfortable, it's also very solid/well constructed one I have had the privilege to sleep on. The mattress is supported firmly without feeling hard, there are no lumps, no noises and no movements or feelings of instability. The construction takes about 40 minutes from open box to fully assembled. I recommend reviewing all pieces and instructions prior to starting assembly. Other than one section where I had thought I misunderstood the instructions regarding the middle support- it was a smooth process. The kit comes with the two little wrenches needed to complete assembly and it is easy to do- just review everything and lay out the parts before you start. I got in bed that first night and promptly went right to sleep. I haven't had any issues since- my sleep quality is even better than I could have expected. This basic foundation is well worth the price and I would not only absolutely purchase it again, I have plans to purchase another for my spare room.

It's nice being able to get in and out of bed without disturbing my wife -- but that was just the side benefit. The real love for this bed comes from the restful nights of sleep we now get! In all honesty, it's a little more firm than we anticipated but works out great for me personally as I prefer a little more firm mattress (whereas my wife wants it soft--but she hasn't had any issues snoring the night away).

I got the frame , thae ghost bed flex , and the shreded pillows tge frame went together easy enough. The pillows are the best i have ever had ,i had to take almost half yhe stuffing out but realy comfy once i did. The bed is the best bed ive ever slept on .
