When I first opened the bottle I could detect a slight "shrimpy" odor. But after taking these for awhile I have not noticed any aftertaste or smell on my breath. And it comes in attractive bottle also. I think I'll be using this krill oil instead of my fish oil from now on.

I have always know that Omega-3 is good for health but have been reluctant to try fish oil because of its fishy aftertaste. When I saw krill oil, I was thrilled to try it. I have the mini size version, so each time i have to swallow three small pills for the recommended dosage. I like it this way because the small size of the pills make them very easy to swallow. I also like the fact that the pills are in the form of soft gels, as soft gels have a round shape and are easier to swallow, and they don't leave a bad taste in your mouth. I also think the packaging is kinda nice. I like that the bottle is clear and I can see how many pills are left in the bottle. I have been taking the recommended dose for over a week now, and so far I have not experienced any discomfort after taking the pills, but at the same time I also have not experienced any improvement in my body. I think I need to keep taking them for a longer time period to fully evaluate the its benefits. The benefits of omega-3 are quite well documented and I think there will be longterm benefits in taking this krill oil supplement daily.
