what I liked about this TV is that it is somewhat bigger than the one I have, what I dislike about it is that it is there is NO manual to follow. There was a little diagram about how to insert the batteries, well, I know how to do that. It is the other steps and symbols I wanted to know about. Not everyone has a smartphone or computer to follow directions. This was a 50" Vizio TV.

Amazing deal on this Vizio 50" QLED tv. Picture is great. The setup was very easy and straightforward. There is a huge variety of streaming apps to choose from, unfortunately the Roku channel isn't one of them so I bought a new 4k Roku. The one drawback on this TV is the sound quality. I would rate the sound about a 3 out of 10. I will probably end up buying a sound bar to improve the quality.

In my opinion, this TV requires too many manual settings to get a good picture. I could not get a good picture. Disappointed with Vizio's quality and operating system. Older Vizio's were more simple and appeared to be better built. I returned this TV and purchased a TCL (Google) for the same price. So far, the TCL appears far superior without any adjustments.

Good specs and respected brand, but I was very disappointed in the picture and sound quality. I went thru all the settings, tried various combinations, but the picture was never as sharp or clear as a much cheaper TV ‘house brand’ purchased at the local electronics big box store. (I own a couple of them.) The basic sound (no soundbar or external speakers) was also disappointing in that it sounded muffled to me. Thought I was purchasing a better quality TV, wish I had saved the money and been happier w the ‘house brand’.

if I could rate it lower I would, it will start playing some visio channel as a screen saver and i have found no way to stop it usb input only works occasionally and its slow and klunky when it does worse tv i ever owned i stopping to gobeat itwith a hammer so i can buy a good tv somewhere

Overall it’s a good tv. I will say at first it didn’t want to stay connected to my WiFi network and I would have to restart it and reconnect it every time I would turn on the tv. However, you can easily fix this by switching your WiFi network to WPA 3 %26 WPA 4. I also wished there was compatibility with the voice to text feature on the controller. Lastly while this doesn’t affect everyone, I wish Chruchyroll was available to download in their app store. To work around this issue I have been using my Xbox or casting to the tv. Overall 4 stars just because of my initial issues with the WiFi connectivity. Now it works great and I would definitely recommend. Solid picture quality for a budget tv!

Our ten-year-old Samsung smart tv died. My son confirmed it was the tv, no other problem. He now has a Vizio, and the size we wanted was in sale - we couldn’t pass it up. Turned out to be the best deal we’ve ever made. The tv was ready for pickup the next morning. Switching out old for new took just a few minutes. The controls were exceptionally user friendly, even with DirecTV and a Firestick to move over. Vizio’s menus are very user friendly, switching between streaming and DirecTV is easy and we always know where we are. I’d recommend Vizio based on our good experience, plus Walmart’s ease of purchase. We never set foot in the store!

the sound of this tv is horrible. its the same volume at 50 and 100. only had this tv for 1 day and i already dont like it. its closed my hulu twice and went back to home screen for no reason. i feel like they make the sound so horrible so you have to buy a sound bar.
