I don't think the picture is that great. First time buying QLED not sure what is so good about it. I have already thrown box away otherwise I would have took it back.

I’m absolutely blown away by the VIZIO VQD50S-0809! From the moment I turned it on, the picture quality was jaw-dropping. The Quantum Color technology brings out such rich and vibrant colors, and with 4K resolution and full HDR support, every scene feels incredibly lifelike. Whether I’m streaming movies, gaming, or watching live sports, everything looks crisp and smooth. The Smart TV interface is fast and easy to use. Looks great - sound is mediocre, though I did change the audio to add some bass %26 subtract some treble, but then it's like sooo quiet. My previous Vizio I only had it set to 37, this one is set to 75 %26 still is not as loud as it's predecessor. I guess that's due to Vizio wanting to sell their soundbars... 😂

Love this tv. Easy set up. You have to download an app, but it is free. You don’t have to pay for it if you don’t want to. Beautiful coloring the sound quality is great For the TV in the bedroom. I always like to have a sound bar if it’s the living room TV picture is bright and crisp and you can’t beat the price.

We have several Vizio televisions because they had all been excellent. We have three at home: 75", 65" and 55" -- We had two at our summer place: 40" and 32" - When I saw this 50" on sale, I decided to replace a 40" other brand. The set up was super easy but the sound is pure crap. It sounds as if a super tiny speaker had been installed; definitely not usual Vizio quality. To top off the bad speaker, it's on the very bottom of the television facing down. If we hadn't already taken so much time and energy getting it up onto the mantle and fastened securely, it would be returned. As I said: Not usual Vizio quality. It seems to have a difficult antenna problem, too, as it keeps disconnecting from both the wifi or regular antenna. Definitely not happy.

if I could rate it lower I would, it will start playing some visio channel as a screen saver and i have found no way to stop it usb input only works occasionally and its slow and klunky when it does worse tv i ever owned i stopping to gobeat itwith a hammer so i can buy a good tv somewhere

In my opinion, this TV requires too many manual settings to get a good picture. I could not get a good picture. Disappointed with Vizio's quality and operating system. Older Vizio's were more simple and appeared to be better built. I returned this TV and purchased a TCL (Google) for the same price. So far, the TCL appears far superior without any adjustments.

ok first time Vizio buyer. Always bought Sony but since it was just for a bedroom ....I took the plunge into Vizio. First impression was that the picture and features like casting video from my phone and The Bluetooth feature are awesome. Using earbuds while watching TV is a game changer so my wife can sleep in peace. The only negative about this TV is the quality of the speakers. Fortunately for me I had an extra Samsung soundbar laying around so now this just upgraded this TV to a must have for any bedroom.

Good specs and respected brand, but I was very disappointed in the picture and sound quality. I went thru all the settings, tried various combinations, but the picture was never as sharp or clear as a much cheaper TV ‘house brand’ purchased at the local electronics big box store. (I own a couple of them.) The basic sound (no soundbar or external speakers) was also disappointing in that it sounded muffled to me. Thought I was purchasing a better quality TV, wish I had saved the money and been happier w the ‘house brand’.
