I was disappointed with the picture quality. I didn't expect to be blown away but I assumed it would be better than the Vizio tv I was replacing. They both appeared to be quite similar, really didn't notice much of a difference. The other tv is a 4K Led and I figured the Quantum would at least be better but it really isn't. Otherwise the tv is fine. I would not suggest this product if you are looking to "upgrade".

I was excited about this TV because it’s our first smart TV and we are definitely not disappointed. While we haven’t set up a lot of streaming services yet, we have enough to know we should’ve done this a long time ago! Aside from now having more viewing options, this is a great TV! My husband and I are 65+. He had no trouble unpacking it — it was packaged very well, eliminating the possibility of damage — and no problem moving/lifting it to place on our TV stand. It took him no more than an hour to set up, from opening the box to sitting back to enjoy watching a basketball game. My daughter did have to help out briefly at one point, clarifying something in the directions, but aside from that, set-up went without a hitch. Once you’re connected, the on-screen prompts walk you through the remainder of the set-up process. And it’s very easy to use. The remote is simple and intuitive. I was actually surprised at how easy it was change settings. Being able to change the Picture Mode back and forth quickly and easily was a revelation and extremely important for us! A family member has sensory issues, so if the screen seems too bright, it’s very simple to change it temporarily. Also, the picture quality is excellent - sharp and “crisp”. The sound is great, too. We don’t have a soundbar or elaborate system, but we don’t find anything lacking in sound and volume control — also important in terms of sensory issues. And perhaps most important for me personally is being able to set a sleep timer!!! I usually fall asleep with the TV on, and being woken up at 4:00 AM by a loud commercial was getting really old. There are quite a few features we haven’t explored yet, but I can say, after almost a month of viewing, that this television meets and exceeds any expectations we had, and I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Vizio tv a few years older so this is a nice update. This 50 inch QLED tv was easy to setup. It’s annoying that you’re required to have a current Vizio account to use this tv. It didn’t take long to set up and update the tv either. Also, in the settings under advertising, I set “viewing data” to off and “limited ad tracking” to on since it looks like the tv collects your data for personalized ads and who knows what else. I also declined the viewing data when setting up tv. I’m sure they’re not the only company to do this but that’s just shady. Compared to my previous tv, this is faster when navigating and typing in letters when searching; more responsive. There are more picture modes and audio setting to fine tune to your preference. Each picture mode can be customized and saved. I noticed that the power light is faintly on even when the TV is off and I don’t know why that is and there is no setting to change that. Knowing it is a QLED tv, the picture quality is good for me as a casual viewer and the audio is better than my previous tv since you can adjust the bass. I don’t turn the bass up all the way to 12 since it has that annoying buzz/static sound so I set it to 10 with no issues. I wish the remote was backlit, it would help in the dark. Startup is quick and immediate. There is a gaming/PC mode to decrease delay/lag. When you are in settings, it shows the wifi name, date and time on the lower left corner. I wish I could see the the day and time on the home screen. This TV is compatible if you choose to opt in by a Vizio voice remote which will probably make it so much easier for navigation and searching. I don’t know why this tv is considered limited edition (stated on the box). Overall, it’s a good budget 50 inch tv.

Having the built-in popular streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, Paramount, and the list goes on, is very convenient. The picture quality on this tv is excellent and the colors are very vibrant. We also love the Watchfree+ that is included with the tv. It allows us to watch tv and movies for free without any subscriptions. We are very happy with this tv so far.

Volume display disappeared so now I have to guess the volume. Had to factory reset the tv for it ro appear, after a while, it disappeared again. Can't find anything online about the issue. Excellent internet in the house, the tv started to slow down.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally buy Samsung tvs but after installing and seeing the picture quality on the Vizio is way better. It took me 5 minutes to set up it has all your favorite apps built in. Love the way it works with Apple AirPlay, Apple home, Alexa and google home. Very energy efficient turn off by itself when no one is watching. It’s WiFi 6 compatible for faster browsing and streaming! Looks amazing with the thin frame design.
