These sponges completely fell apart every time I used one. I was wiping off a cabinet and the sponge broke in half with multiple particles dropping to the floor. They erase dirt well but not worth it when I have to use all 4 because they crumble like chalk. Then I have to vacuum the pieces up. For the “extra durable” moniker, I really expected a lot more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MR. CLEAN MAGIC ERASER – EXTRA DURABLE eraser is a great cleaning tool for any household cleaning product. Just wet the spong wring it out and get to work. It cleans all surfaces and is much better and durable than using a regular sponge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a free sample of Mr. Clean Magic Eraser from PinchMe. It surprisingly worked. I like that it doesn't have or leave a smell. You just wet it, squeeze out the water, and go. It removed a hair dye stain that was on my bathroom shower tile, and whitened my tub. You have to put in a little arm work, but it gets the job done. I think this is good for mild to moderate stains. I wouldn't use this for heavy duty stains or anything like that.

My only issue is that you will be disappointed if trying to use the same one multiple times especially for.tough dirty jobs like cleaning the tub or wiping walls. If you try to use the same one multiple times the eraser will get flat and eventually crumble which can get aggravating.

WOW WOW WOW I live in Texas and the water is pretty sludgie I have the clear glass shower doors in all my bathrooms and I'm always scrubbing and cleaning but they never really sparkel until now. Using the Mr Clean magic eraser made it effortless it was so easy it wiped that build up right off,, thank you mr Clean

I found that when I scrubbed the tile, the Magic Eraser started to tear. I find it hard to clean when you have to be gentle with the supplies. I would purchase again, but use on only smooth surfaces, not grout. It did a fine job on cleaning the soap scum from the tub and sink surfaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the Mr. Clean brand. Everyone should have a Magic Eraser in bathroom and kitchen. It does wonders to get the streaks out of the mirror. It works good for the refrigerator handle. It works good for the door also don't wipe to hard after time it will start thinning the paint. It also works on your vehicle windows.

All Magic Eraser products serve a purpose. They remove mineral deposits, soap scum, baked on grease, scuff marks, and most any stubborn spot that other products will not. They do not last. They crumble and disintegrate quickly. An eraser, even the extra durable has a less that 50% chance of making it through one cleaning of the master bath. Two six-foot sink/counter tops, one large tub, and a 2.5 ft by 3.5 ft glassed shower. Does not remove or prevent mildew as a bleach based product would. I keep a supply in the house because they do serve a purpose. There are no other products like it. Lack of durability makes it an expensive purchase. The kitchen eraser with the blue foam center is one of the product line I will not purchase again. There's no benefit over the other styles that I can see. I recommend the product for its ability to clean. However, buyers need to understand that it is not a long-term use product.
