reply from Customer Care

We're sorry to hear that you had this experience, since our Magic Erasers do go through many quality checks to ensure that you can rely on them. However, we'd like to mention that our Magic Erasers are designed to break down as they're being used, just like a pencil eraser. How long the product lasts depends on how many times you use it and how rough the surfaces you use it on are. For best results, wet the pad with water before use and gently squeeze out excess water (do not twist). We'd also be happy to learn more about your experience, so please give us a call at (800) 248-1612 when you can.
