It can leave behind small pieces of residue, just as a pencil eraser does. <br /><br />How long the product lasts depends on how many times you use it and how rough the surfaces you use it on are. <br /><br />For best results, wet the pad with water before you use it. Then squeeze out excess water rather than wringing or twisting the pad. <br /><br />Do not use any cleaning product with the pad. After use, rinse the product and leave it to dry naturally. We do offer our Extra Durable version which is 50% stronger AND our Ultra Thick is 2x the thickness for heavy-duty cleaning and won&#39;t break down as quickly. It can, and often will, leave behind small pieces of residue, during use. How long the product lasts depends on how many times you use it and the texture of the surfaces you use it on.
