Picture quality

Like2tronics, We appreciate you sharing your experience with the DU6900 TV. Your feedback regarding image brightness is essential to us and will be shared with our internal teams. If the image you’re seeing isn’t to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to adjust. Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching. You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings). As expected

Washed out if not viewed directly from front.

OK for a UHD but no comparison with an OLED which is also more costlier. Very good price for a 50" but I don't like how the display pales and washes out when the viewing angle changes. You must watch it "head on" and not from any side views.

Missing features

No optical out !!!! Cant use my headphoneshad to purchase HDMI OPTICALE converter, that did not work, why is there no optical or analog audio outs ?????

Great picture!

Bright and clear

Great quality for price

TV

The color and sound is what I was looking for. I really like the quick response time to turning on/off and changing channels/apps. I have some difficulty getting my local channels. I guess I'll have to buy an Antena.
