[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I went from a king size bed to this queen size bed so we had to get used to sleeping that close to each other again, but after we got used to that I slept SO GOOD. I feel like the mattress adjust to my body perfectly giving me amazing support no matter which way I laid. The plush pillow top makes me feel like I am laying on a marshmallow cloud, it is so soft, but the mid firm layer under helped keep me from feeling like I was sinking down to far.

I have been sleeping on this mattress for about 3 weeks now and am enjoying it. The pillowtop is incredibly plush and you just melt into it. I am a stomach sleeper and have trouble finding mattresses that are comfortable for me. This one has the softness of the pillowtop, but still has support, which is working out well for me. I have not been having as much back pain when I wake up. One concern I have is that despite having a firmness below the pillowtop for comfort while sleeping, the sides of the mattress do not seem to have as much side support as other mattresses I've had. I do not know if this will effect it long term, but is one thing I will be keeping an eye out fur issues as I have this mattress long term.

have owned a few S&F but this one hasn't lasted very long as far as sagging in the middle. I have to get a new mattress quickly as my back is hurting. If I sleep at a nice Hotel, I feel great and have no back pain. Sorry S&F, I paid allot or this mattress and expected it to last longer. the tag states Dina Pammill was the Master Craftsman made in Indiana and also has Eileen Leigh name on it along with the number 5691. I have the Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop. Its a VERY hot mattress to sleep on. I have never been a hot sleeper but on this mattress, I have turned into one thanks to the Tempur Indulge foam. (This is NOT my first rodeo with memory foam). I have tried 100% Bamboo sheets, low thread count sheets, no mattress protector, and keeping my thermostat at 67 degrees while I sleep. Nothing has helped me sleep cool on this mattress. I even called Stearns' customer service and the Rep said that the cooling cover on the Lux Estate just doesn't work well for everyone. I stopped by a local mattress store yesterday and spoke with the salesman about the heat issues on this mattress. He wasnt shocked and actually told me he expects to hear more complaints about this bed holding heat. He agreed that the vents on the side of the mattress are more cosmetic than anything. It doesnt aid in cooling the mattress whatsoever. I am currently in the process of trying to buy a new (non Stearns and Foster) bed. Aside from the heat, the mattress is comfy for the 3 weeks I have had it. Its a medium soft feel and I am a strict side sleeper.

I bought this mattress because of the reputation of the company and reviews and am very disappointed. After using it for six months it is sagging and I wake up with back and hip pain every morning. I never had back problems before getting this mattress. I am not even finished paying for it and am already looking to buy another mattress, but it won't be a Stearns and Foster.

This is a very comfortable mattress. Unfortunately the off gassing of the materials gave me terrible respiratory distress. I think the latex in the cushioning caused me to have an allergic reaction. My old Stearns & Foster (used almost 20 years) never had any such pungent odor. I think the new materials used in fabrication of the products contain more synthetic additives that can cause an allergic reaction in sensitive people who are sensitive to their odors - like me. This one is very comfortable but I had to return it.

Previously I had purchased a mattress that was for side sleepers and thought it was great until I had my hip replaced. With a new hip I found it was like sleeping in a hammock. My new mattress is wonderful, no more hammock feel but a luxuriously firm mattress that allows me to sleep comfortably and longer.

Purchased a very expensive estate mattress for second home in Florida. Only have slept on the mattress less than a month! The mattress is defective. Mattress sinks in when lying on it. I am a very petite woman who is older. STEARS & foster will not stand behind their products if you are out of their said warranty period NO EXCEPTIONS! THEIR COMMERCIALS ARE LIES. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY VERY DISHONEST COMPANY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sterns & Foster sent me this mattress to review. I generally prefer firm mattress but was willing to give this one a try. I didn't know what to expect with a "medium tight top" mattress. It's softer than what I believe a medium should be, however it is very comfortable. It is a deep navy color and very thick, looks very nice. The only negative I have found so far, is that I feel it sleeps a little warmer than my previous mattress. Nothing a little change in the room temperature couldn't fix though.

I had to become a side sleeper due to my CPAP and sleep apnea and developed a sore neck and shoulder on my previous firm mattress (which was perfect for my back sleeping comfort). The Lux Estate is now my perfect mattress....so comfortable, supportive and relieves all my pressure points! Better sleep, less waking up, less apnea events. It is a wonderful mattress!
