Customer reviews for 2400-Watt EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max Portable Power Station + X Boost proprietary technology forA nice addition to my EcoFlow family!
I previously had a River Pro as I live quite rural and power goes out a few times a year from storms (spring, summer, and winter) and I wanted something to intermittently run the fridge, freezer, and sump pump with. Earlier this year we were without power for a good chunk of the day and moving the battery back and forth between the three was getting annoying. I picked up he Delta 2 Max so that I could run the fridge and freezer with it, and then use the other just for the sump during power outages, not two weeks after it delivered we were without power again for several hours and it worked like a charm. I also used it to till our 15x15 ish pumpkin patch this year as I have a cheap electric tiller that was well within the power delivery capabilities and instead of daisy chaining 200ft of extension cord I just put the battery in the yard, ran a 10ft extension cord to the tiller, and safely tilled away from it. LOVE IT! Maybe someday down the road we'll bump up to a whole house solution!
Delta 2 + 800w Alternator Charger
I purchased this combination about a year ago and feel like I need to write a review after using these products. Prior to upgrading to this setup; I ran two Jackery (250w and 1000w) units for my power needs while camping. Switching to the Delta 2 setup minimized the amount of equipment I needed. It also provided plenty of power to run my fridge and charge any other electronics I needed charging. However, this is not the reason that prompted a review. The Delta 2 with the 800w Alternator Charger earned its worth when it got me out of an otherwise expensive situation. I was about an hour away from home running trails when I happen to damage my alternator. Because of this; I was slowly draining my battery and feared I’d have to pay for a costly tow. I had happened to leave my Delta 2 in the truck that weekend and it came in clutch. It was fully charged due to it being hooked up to the Alternator Charger. I was able to reverse the charge and run the truck off the Delta 2 for an hour until I made it home. I charged the Delta 2 every night to be able to drive to work and back until I was able to get the alternator replaced. Needless to say, the Delta + 800w Alternator Charger earned its worth. I highly recommend this setup to the point that I don’t need to run a dual battery setup since I have this to rely on. If you ask me, this combination is worth the money if you spend any time off grid or off the beaten path.

Amazing Goldilocks Solar Generator
I've been researching solar generators for the past few months, almost had decided on an AC300 but wanted something a little easier to pack up in the car/Jeep to bring out camping, etc. EcoFlow released this just in time and at a fairly decent price. The API is cool albeit a little limited. I have a couple support tickets open for some minor bugs, but support has been responsive and the Facebook communities are great! I'm running my wave 2 off of this in my home office and have it almost entirely off-grid. The EcoFlow ecosystem just can't be beat. Once all of the minor bugs are worked out and the app updated I will definitely rate this 5 stars! More pics/data/info here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/VvumNz5XjU3cZPq46
Like the number of features
Bought a few months ago. Unfortunately due to family illness did not have time to check it out. Did bring it up to charge when I got it. Now have tried, hooked to a couple of fans and a refrigerator, ranf for about 30 minutes, worked flawlessly. Still had high percentage of charge.
Delta 2 Max
I have had a Delta 2 for about a year and when the Delta 2 Max came out I decided to pick one up with the 2 110 watt solar panels. I love the information that the display on all of the Eco Flow power stations provides. It’s extremely useful to understand the wattage used by various appliances. I was surprised at how much quieter the Delta 2 Max fans were compared to the Delta 2. The fan noise is not a big deal to me but it was nicer to have them so much quieter. The one concern I have is either the capacity of the batteries or the power used by the inverter. I have plugged in a 100 watt light bulb into the fully charged unit. The display shows about 95 watts used but only 16 hours of run time. The actual time was that or even a little less. That would seem to indicate that the batteries don’t have their full capacity or the inverter is using about 20% of the power. I have not yet contacted customer service about this issue. Overall Eco Flow products have revolutionized backup power for me. The capability of having power with only using a generator to recharge the batteries is great. This is especially true considering the short recharge times of the Eco Flow batteries.
Actually taking my wife camping!
We have had a River Pro for a year or so and finally made the decision to step up to a larger unit. The nice thing about the power of the Delta 2 Max is now the wife can use her hair dryer and curling iron while camping so she looks pretty for the wildlife! The best part of buying this was when a storm caused a power outage two days after this arrived and we used it to keep the fridge running for 24 hours with no problem. Soon we will be adding the Delta Max extra battery for even longer use.
Ninja Quiet and Super Impressive!
Time to Ditch Gas and Go Solar with the Delta 2 Max! Let’s do a quick rundown of the new kid on the block and compare it with its little brother, the Delta 2. The Delta 2 Max is definitely much beefier than the Delta 2. The D2Max sits at 19.6 × 9.5 × 12 inches and weighs approximately 50 lbs. The Delta 2 on the other hand is 15.7 × 8.3 × 11.1 inches and weighs in at 27 lbs. Reading the dimensions may not seem like much of a difference but trust me, it is! The D2Max sports a whopping 2,048Wh batt capacity! That is DOUBLE the capacity of its little brother, the Delta 2 at 1,024Wh. Of course, we are talking nothing but LFP with an estimated 3,000 cycles to 80% of capacity. The D2Max also sports an add-on option where you can triple the capacity from 2kWh to 6kWh by adding two Smart Extra Batteries. Kick things off with a blistering 2048Wh base and move up to 4096Wh with a single extra battery. From there, max out at 6144Wh with a second extra battery! Major capacity upgrade! One immediate noticeable difference (besides size), are the AC outlets. While both have six outlets, all of the D2Max's outlets are grounded outlets. With the Delta 2, only two are grounded. The D2Max provides up to 2,400W total (4,800W surge) AC while the Delta 2 sits at only 1,800W (2,700W surge). EcoFlow's proprietary X-Boost on the D2Max is 3,400W vs the Delta 2 at 2,200W. USB ports remain the same between the two models, x2 USB-A and x2 USB-A Fast Charging. There are also x2 USB-C (100W) ports for a total of six USB ports. DC/Car Outlet and x2 DC5521 (barrel) outputs also remain the same. On the input side, the D2 Max sports dual solar inputs (500W each/1,000W total) and a mind blowing 1,800W AC input. This is a game changer with a lightning fast estimated 43-minute charge time to 80% when combining both AC (1,800W) and a min of 600W solar input! Super-fast! Going to save this for last... Charging at the Max X-Stream setting of 1,800W or any of the variable settings is WHISPER QUIET! This is going to blow you away! I cannot believe how quiet this thing is! The Delta 2 sounds like a jet ready for take-off. Ecoflow must have an Area 51 scientist on the design team. the D2Max is Aurora Stealth quiet! Either that or it was built by Ninjas... ;) If you are looking for a home backup solution, be the envy of all the other overlanders in your weekend run to the mountains or just light up and power the playa at the next Burn, the Delta 2 Max is the power station you have been looking for! Way to go EcoFlow, you knocked this one out of the park! #DitchGasGoSolar Welcome #Delta2Max !
Just what I needed
I'm a professional drone pilot and was looking for ways to charge drone batteries on the go. Specially, my big drone DJI M300 requires a lot of power to charge batteries. When I tested the Delta 2 Max charging my batteries, I was impressed that the charger to see how much power it draws (750 W). I can easily charge the batteries up to three times with a single charge on the Delta 2 Max. I did another test with my house refrigerator which draw 85 W and can be powered up more than 20 hours with the Delta 2 Max. Super impressed with the power and quality of this.
Worth the Wait
I've been researching this type of product for over a year. The Delta 2 Max has all the features I was looking for. Long battery life, quiet, reasonable weight and good price. Would have bought the Pro, but a little heavier than I wanted. Will use for power outages and not for daily use. I've only had for a few weeks, but am very impressed by the build quality, functionality, quiet operation, and ease of use. Also bought the 160W solar panel. It works quite well even though one panel will take some time to recharge the unit. There are several other charging options which makes this so versatile. It gives me great peace of mind knowing I will be able to use some home devices during a power outage. Will probably add a second battery at some point. Very pleased with my purchase!
The Peace of Mind You Need During a Crisis
The Ecoflow Delta2 Max is the answer to what I have been wishing for. It is relatively light, it can be used in the house, can be charged with solar panels and the power output is phenomenal. After going through having had an attack on our local power station and being without electric for 10 days, I now have a peace of mind going into hurricane season that I can power my refrigator and freezer plus a few other things.
