It is very portable it also has very clear operational buttons on the front, and the display screen is very easy to understand. It would be nice if it could charge 6 volt batteries instructions, say only 12 volt. To fully understand how to use it, you have to read all the instructions as it can be confusing until you read all the instructions. The charging speed is quite fast. I do like the safety features that will tell you the condition of the battery and the condition of the alternator as well as the ability to jumpstart a vehicle
