I wanted a shop quality charger. This one meets that standard. The variable charging modes make this unit. I had a parasitic draw on a brand new battery causing it to degrade and with one of the modes it brought my battery back to life. I'd recommend this unit for the home shade tree mechanic.

Just select what battery you have, and hit the charge battery button. Pretty simple. Plug it up, and CcHHHHAAAAAARRRGGEEE!

Stops changing at 12 volts, my own alternator keeps it at 14.8 volts. Jump option does not seem to perform as advertised and the rebuilding battery option, which used to work years ago; now doesn't seem to do anything. it also comes with assembly requirement, for as expensive as it was and the packaging it came in and with i should not have to assemble

Never used it. Too many negative comments about this item. Also seems the circuit board is loose…peeking through the vent on unit. Decided to return than take a chance with it.

This won't change the battery in my van. I also just watched the video on youtube, and the man tried twice to start his corvette, and it didn't work.

the smart charger diesnt allow you to put a xharge to batteries it deems not good enough when in fact they will take a charge. you cant over ride lets say bat. recond. when you hit another button unless you unplug it from power and the batt. and then you havecto wait fir up to 4 minutes for it to lose power even though its already unplugged. very aggitating charger
