I am on my second ninja dualbrew pro specialty coffee system. Love: Water fills from sink and has a great way to grip it Love ability to do carafe/cup/travel mug with ease Love separate water function for tea etc. Love how you can switch between different roasts, sizes, etc. with ease Love you can use any brand of coffee pods HATE: Hate that both coffee systems have grounds spilling into the carafe and the cups/mugs. Hate that the grounds in my coffee are found intermittently - but seems always to be present when I am having a party! Hate that I have tried different strengths, coffee ground sizes, etc. to no avail Hate my first system was replaced by the company, thank you; but the second one continues to have the exact same problem.

I had an older model and enjoyed some of the features, so I had an idea what to expect. The main reason I purchased this item was because of the advertised 12-cup carafe. It turns out, it will only brew 55 oz, less then 7 cups. It’s not like there is 41 oz of free space in the carafe once the pot is brewed. Total capacity of the carafe is about 68 oz.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine. The Ninja CFP301 DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System, Single-Serve, Pod, and 12-Cup Drip Coffee Maker is a delight. Set up took a few minutes to figure out but it was smooth drinking after that. I use the single serve cups once in a while and the full pot for the morning. It is easy to transition from one to the other. The water vessel can be on the side or the back. It can do iced coffee and specialty coffees too. It has a milk frother if you like that. I like the richness settings. I highly recommend this coffee maker.

Loved the versatility of this machine at first! But after a year, it’s not making the right amount of coffee when I make just a single cup and it’s not dispensing the correct amount of hot water. I have cleaned it several times thinking that was the problem but I am convinced that it’s the machine. It’s just a pain to have to run it multiple times to get the right amount of coffee or water.

I have had mine for almost 2 months now. I am pleased with its functionality. I have used all the functions that it offers. The single K-Cup, Full pot function, The hot water for tea or other drinks as well as for oatmeal. I have no real complaints. One thing I think that would be nice if there was an adapter available for the expresso pods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this for a couple weeks now and it's been great. The water only spout is awesome for hot tea. The pod adapter works great. And the ground coffee maker it pretty awesome. It has a lot of options which takes some getting used to; especially if you are used to a basic coffee maker like I was. But the options allow you to make exactly the amount of coffee you want in your preferred method so it's worth taking the time to learn them.

I bought this about a year ago and have been fairly unimpressed with it. I mostly use k-cups, and if that’s all you want it for, it works pretty well, but doesn’t get hot enough to extract optimally (and also if you are a slow coffee drinker, it’ll be straight up cold within 10 minutes of brewing so prepare to chug). I do the specialty 4 oz setting as I find it comes out the strongest that way. As for a normal pot of coffee, the brewing process simply doesn’t get hot enough on this machine to extract properly, so everything that comes out of it is room temp and has a sour/acidic taste. I’ve found ways to make that taste less prominent (use an extremely fine grind, like what you’d use for espresso, and two filters instead of one) but have never been able to fully eliminate it and almost always just use my French press or aero press instead if I’m not in a hurry. I wish I’d just bought a basic keurig (which is what I had previously) instead as they actually get hot enough to produce a strong coffee. I don’t ever use the frothing wand because I have a separate pitcher that heats and froths milk, but the one thing that I do love about this machine is the hot water dispenser, especially as I regularly drink tea as well. It’s been nice not to need a separate countertop appliance just for hot water (or a stovetop kettle). All that said, if you tend to prefer light roasts and acidic coffee that is ready to drink immediately this might be perfect for you. If you prefer dark, non acidic, piping hot coffee, I don’t recommend this. It’s all just a matter of preference.

I love this coffee maker. It has multiple features and i have used them all. Two things that are a problem for me is that in the middle of brewing a pot of coffee the clean alert goes on and you can’t finish the brew cycle. The other is my Kcup lid continues to stick which i have reached out to customer support. We”ll see out that goes. Other than that I purchased two more for gifts that’s how much I love it!

We bought this a couple of weeks ago. The first brew was fine, but had a few coffee grounds in the carafe. Every singles brew after had over an inch of grounds in the carafe. We cleaned and cleaned, even adjusted the amount of grounds, ran just water through, but no matter what it had and inch or more of grounds and the basket would be backed up with water. At one point I brewed 4 pots in 2 hours trying to get it to brew correctly. I really wanted this coffee maker and am so disappointed. We returned within a few days, but are still waiting for our refund.

I am a big coffee drinker, but dont need specialty coffees, special creams etc. I have had several different pots in the last few year. I was so irritated that I could not get a piping hot cup of coffee. I found it ! So far, I am extremely pleased with the Ninja, it came out hot and my second and third cup were still hot. I use the carafe in the AM and the pods in the afternoon , I even tried the frother , it was awesome, easy to use and easy to clean ! I cant wait to use it over the holidays for my adult kids that like specialty coffees . Merry Christmas to me !
