My daughter got this for Christmas. Her reaction was like the boy in the insurance commercial who kicked the bike he unwrapped, but now I can’t get her off it. We go out on our scooters together every chance we get.

Great little Electric Kick Scooter

This little Segway scooter is amazing. I have the Segway Max and was getting tired of carrying my son and daughter all around town on it, so when this scooter came out, I just had to purchase it. My kids absolutely love this machine, and we have a blast riding our scooters all around town. We previously had another brand of scooter, but it simply just makes so much noise and didn’t perform as well. This scooter is super quiet, rides super smooth and it looks fantastic as well. It's about as professional of a scooter that a child can have. My kids ask me 2x a day to go riding with them and it's truly a great bonding experience. They are 10 and 12 years old and weigh about 85 to 100 lbs. We have traveled about 5 miles each day and the charge has still held. The price is so good and Sam’s Club, I’m probably going to buy a second unit. If you’re looking for a scooter, believe me nothing can compare to this Segway product. Spend the extra money you'll be happy you did.

Bought this scooter 7 months ago and my 9 year old along with my 44 year old husband has ridden this almost everyday. It has worked great, held up great, and haven't had any issues with the battery. It's cold here in the winter, so my son brings it in to charge it instead of storing it in the garage and that seems to have solved the battery issues that we sometimes get here in the winters with stuff like this.

As one other reviewer points out, the scooter will not work properly without activation. Even though it is fully charged, it will just beep constantly and it is not usable until it is actually activated. Unfortunately, the activation instructions are nowhere to be found in the manual. There is a QR code sticker on the throttle button. You need to scan the QR code to get the instructions for how to activate the scooter. Basically, you turn it on and then hold down the throttle and the break at the same time for 5 seconds until the flashing red light turns white and the beeping stops. Then the scooter is ready to use.

This scooter is really great once it’s activate date . The directions are not very clear so you need to scan QR code code located on the hand brake to get activation instructions. Before activation, the scooter will constantly beep & be limited to 3.1 mph in all modes. Once activated beeping will stop & you can access safety and turbo modes.

Got these for my grandsons, one age 10 and one age 8, for Christmas. They love them! I was worried about the 8 year old as the box says they are for 10 and up, but he does just fine. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because the instructions that come with it are not real clear about how to set the different speeds. We had to search the internet to try to find clearer instructions.

So this scooter is fun enough to entertain a 7 year old for 20-30 minutes but it takes quite a ways to get going 2 mph and the thing beeps loudly the ENTIRE time they are riding it. Weird and dumb.

Purchased this for my son for Christmas. It came in a box that was taped all around since it was returned and the box was ripped open. When the scooter got to us, it was disgustingly filthy and already used. Not only that, but it was missing pieces. Thanks for nothing Sam’s club. Don’t even know what to do next. Only reason it got a star is because 0 stars wasn’t available.
