It is my primary nightly bed. The mattress as it was purchased is a little too firm for me. I had to put a small quilt on top of the mattress to make it useable. I do not recall the mattress being so firm at the time of purchase. I was not looking for a soft bed, but also not a hard one. The quilt I put on top makes it usable for me.

The Posturepedic Spring Pillow Top Soft II was soft enough to make me feel relaxed and at ease. If anyone is interested in a pillow top mattress, I highly recommend this one.

The first night I just couldn't believe how wonderful I slept. This was the first time I've ever purchased a mattress online. I'm glad I did and thumbs up to your company. I just didn't like the delivery people. They never called me. I initiated the calls which were about six or seven times before I spoke with a live person. You may want to further investigate your delivery company. Otherwise keep selling those terrific mattresses.

Only slept on the mattress one night so far as it was just delivered yesterday; however, I did not wake up in pain this morning like I did with my old mattress! My wife likes the fact that my tossing and turning no longer wakes her in the middle of the night. The mattress is firm yet comfortable.

We chose this mattress as a compromise from our 100% memory foam mattress (in which my husband would wake up in a sinkhole). His back needed more support and on the showroom floor, this "hybrid" seemed to fit the bill. After a couple of weeks sleeping on it, we are both getting used to the firmness we didn't have in our previous mattress. Spend some time on it in the showroom to really make sure you can handle this level of firm. I don't regret our purchase, but it is definitely something we had to get used to.

Product is exactly what one would expect from a firm matress. My daughter loves sleeping on it and I too have spent a lot of time enjoying it. My only complaint would be the distance from the headboard and foootboard and the side rails to the matress are terrible. These are made a standard size so I guess my complaint is geared more towards the bed frame.

I need a firm mattress, but short of sleeping on the floor. The Sealy Response Performance Firm is just the right firmness, perhaps a little softer than ideal. Most other mattresses I have tried sag in the middle, even if they are rock hard elsewhere. The Sealy gives me uniform support. For the slight additional support I want for my lumbar area and buttocks I placed a folded blanket across the middle area of the mattress and placed a one inch foam topper over the blanket and mattress to smooth everything out. I had tried literally a dozen mattresses before this one and could not devise a way to make them comfortable even with added blankets and foam, so I am happy with this mattress.

I'm a side sleeper. Only had the mattresses for one day. So far when I got up my back felt better that what I'm use to. We got the firm Performance line Blackwell. The mattress we had before had a pillow top on it that in about a year saged along with the rest of the mattress. I'm done with Pillow Tops. I think this one will be a keepier.

Purchased based on reviews, and the need for more support. I have been experiencing back pains in the middle of the night, while sleeping on a foam mattress. Have not spent the night on this one yet, looking forward to a full evaluation over the coming months. Definitely firm with little "give" while laying flat. A knee or elbow forced down allows you to reach decent springiness.

Love the the mattress...just wanted to advise that there wasn't a selection for the actual mattress that I have when I was registering my mattress just now so I selected anything. I have a cushion firm " SMB West Salem which was not on your selection list FYI.
