Hi Bobd, Our Thunder UTV has a safe structure which protects the child without the need of a remote control. The 2 seater has a 2-wheel driving along with a spring suspension system which ensures that your little-one has a safe and a smooth ride. Further, the seat belt, the double lockable doors, and the restricted speed limit of 2-5 mph ensures further security of the child.
