I've never used laundry pods before, so I can't speak on their comparison to other brands. However, these are easy to use, and I was not worried that my clothes weren't clean enough. They have a nice, fresh scent that isn't too overpowering. Overall, I would recommend.

So I decided I was going to use these on my ACTIVE WEAR laundry thats been sitting around in a laundry basket in the basement for like 4 weeks. Gross I know. Hey, I am busy! I read the directions and it said for large loads or heavily soiled loads to use two packs. My clothes were not overly soiled but Im guilty of jam packing the washer so I went with 2. I was worried about these dissolving because I use cold water but I had no issues. These are easy (no pouring), and they smell wonderful. I have no cons, I loved the results of my clothes. I would definitely recommend.

These pods are convenient, not having to carry an entire bottle down to my apartment's laundry room was a definite plus. These left my clothes smelling fresh and did the job of getting them clean.

My laundry smells so fresh which can be challenging because my husband does construction and I have pets and kids. I received this product complimentary so I am not sure of the price. It is a very good product though.
