I’ve been purchasing this affordable liquid hand soap refill from Sam’s club for years. I like that it does not have triclosan. However, at least this last soap I bought, as I wash my hands with it, it seems to be more watery and just washes right off, rather than making a good lather like it used to. Maybe I just got a bad batch, but maybe they’ve change the formula to something cheaper that doesn’t work as well?

I really wanted to like this hand soap unfortunately one bottle arrived 1/2 empty (it spilled and made a mess inside the cardboard box.) I was reluctant to believe the other comments regarding spilled bottles but unfortunately they are true. I am still giving it two stars because one of the two bottle arrived intact.

As others have already said, the hand soap itself is great and I'd add that the price is good. The only complaints I have aren't related to the soap itself, but to packaging and availability. The packaging grip I have is that unless you're careful, removing the piece of plastic that connects the two bottles has a tendency to break the flimsy cap on the bottle it's removed from. The first time this happened I chalked it up to a bad cap or carelessness on my part, but after it happened to me multiple times I realized it's a problem with the product itself. To get around this I started pushing down on the cap (preventing it from being pulled open) with one hand while pulling the connector off / up with the other hand. This is a minor problem, but something to be aware of. A bigger problem is that this product is regularly unavailable. I first started noticing it last year when many products' availability was spotty, but being able to buy this still seems to be hit-or-miss. In fact, the last time I purchased was in August 2022 and now in late November it has been out of stock for at least a month or two. Is this a temporary thing and -- if so -- when will it be back in stock? Who knows, but at least one other reviewer has noted the same thing. So buy it if you can get it, but you may find that difficult.

Container broke and was leaky after I refilled one of my soap dispensers. I did not notice the leak until later. The plastic is flimsy and leaks soap. The price of the product is good, and the quality of the soap is good too. Wish the container was more sturdy. May work if you transfer the soap to a different container.

I had to returm this soap because it was very harsh on my sensitive skin. Iy dried my skin out and formed dry patches on my hand that burned due to the harsh fragrance and chemicals. If you have sensitive skin, I would suggest that you use a milder soap.

Just bought this again. The top of one of the bottles is broken. Spilled the soap not completely but enough that I am returning to the store. This has happened several times before and I have tried to save it to stop having to go thru returning process. Enough! Will not recommend anymore for shipping unless you correct the container problem.

The Member's Mark hand soap used to be really very good. It was so good, that I stopped buying the name brand refills. However, this new formula is drying to the hands. We had been using just fine without issues, then all of a sudden we started experiencing dry skin on the side of our fingers and cuts along the knuckles. It's not even winter yet and we've gone through tubes of hand cream to try and moisturize and repair the skin damage. I wish Sam's Club would go back to the original formula.
