Had the Generac 22KW air cooled generator installed in March after considerable market research. Picked Generac because it offered the largest, air-cooled wattage, automatic load shedding, and because of market share (over 70%), which guarantees repair parts and service availability in the future. To date, the generator has had no issues. Weekly automatic test runs have worked flawlessly. Only have experienced one short power outage since installation. The generator kicked on immediately and transferred the house load perfectly. Could not be happier right now.

I live in a rural area in Costa Rica and installed the two generator I purchased, with the help of a friend. The installation instructions were clear - and the generators are functioning perfectly when our frequent electrical outages occur. I am a happy customer!

We have had two outages since the Generac was installed and it worked exactly as promised. No instruction booklet was left and the verbal instructions were a bit confusing. The appliance should come with an instruction manual so we know how to take care of it. My car, dishwasher,refrigerator,etc all came with instruction/service manuals.

This generator was purchased in October 2016 it took 3 months to get permits for installation. It worked perfectly during Irma! Ran for 33 hours. We were the only ones on the street that had power. A great product. A plus to the value of property.

I upgraded my Generac Guardian generator from 15KW version to a 22KW version (due to load increases). I have to say I am pleasantly surprised on the quality of power being delivered. The old generator fluctuated several hz (+-2 Hz) and had a hard time holding a steady voltage. We are using this generator to power a small data center, power quality is important as UPS don't like dirty power. This new generator holds voltage steady, the frequency is within +-0.1 Hz. Even when the large roof top air conditioning unit kicked in, the generator powered up and recovered the correct voltage and frequency within a second. The power monitoring is also a nice touch. Now I know when we loose power and if the generator kicked in or not. Although the old unit mechanically was working fine, visually the case was metal and rusted heavily. This new case is aluminum so we are expecting no rust.

I had a 200amp transfer switch installed by my home builder so all I had to do was buy a generator and run the wiring. I decided to get the 22kw air cooled generac. What a simple unit to install on your own. Very detailed instructions and initial setup was a breeze. I went with the weekly exercise schedule for my generac. Only bad thing is that my utility company power has only went out once and it was only about 30 minutes. Had absolutely zero issues during those 30 minutes.

We had a generac generator at our last house for 7 years, no problems. We have only tested this unit so far, no power outages yet, but tests were good. Only one problem, the load shed modules do NOT work as advertised. The specs say it can "disable" a circuit while on generator power. It cannot do this. It can disable the circuit in an overload situation only. We needed this feature to disconnect our solar panels while on generator power.

Purchased the 22kw unit recently, built a pad and had it connected to service. Outside of tests, have yet to have a need for the unit to take over powering our home. Have been very pleased with the straightforward instructions and the ease of manually cycling the unit. The quietness of the running unit was a nice surprise too.

This is my second Generac stand-by generator and the newer model is even better than before. Easy installation, well-written instructions, new connection terminal at the generator makes installation and service much more user-friendly. 10 seconds from utility power loss to complete restoration of generator power for the entire house.

We now enjoy the security of knowing that, come what may, we will no longer be "left in the dark" during bad weather or hurricanes. We have been considering this purchase for ten years, and are delighted that we finally had the whole-house generator installed.
