I used to worry every time it rained hard. No more! This is the best investment that I have ever made. It tests itself once a week, so it is always ready. I haven't had it long, but twice the power has gone off, and it came right on. I love it and do not why I didn't buy this years ago.

We live in an area where power interruptions are frequent. The extreme cold that we experience in the winter could cause a lot for potential freeze damages in the house (water pipes, hydronic heating system,..). Recently we had a 6h power outage, the generator kicked on automatically and started humming. All was working in the house, we watched a movie while our neighbors were waiting anxiously in the dark for the power to be restored.

We had just had it installed several days before a hurricane. It was wonderful to have the secure feeling of having power to our home!! It worked great for the 3 days that we did not have power. It has also come on again about a month ago. We didn't even know our power had gone off due to a cut line in our neighborhood. It is a blessing to us!!

I've had my backup generator for about seven months now. This is my second one actually, since my first was stolen a day prior to it being installed. The generator was installed by our electrician. I set up the programming of it, which was very straightforward. The power has only gone out once since then and it was amazing how it started right up, switched over and ran into power was reestablished. It automatically rubs through its test runs weekly without a hitch. It's a great comfort.

We use this as backup power running on propane. Works fine. My wife was not going to go crank something. It comes on about 10 seconds after a power failure. We have a 22KW unit and it powers everything including a 4 ton HVAC. I love it. Be careful about placement as this is an engine and makes some noise. We have it on the side of the garage away from the house and we can barely hear it. A neighbor installed his (natural gas) and has had problems. Don't have a clue as to why. I just know that mine works flawlessly.

I truly can not totally review. The unit was installed on time and in a very professional manner. It tests itself every Monday and there are no issues. I have not had a poer outage, since the installation and would have no way to reate the unit until I have one. THANKS RICK

This unit replaced an older generator and doubled the wattage. The Power Management features permit the monitoring of our entire 300 amp service vs. 16 dedicated circuits previously. It's quieter, has a smaller footprint and the wireless module keeps me and our servicing company in constant touch.

Overall a very good product and value. I installed it myself and the process was straight forward and intuitive. The only recommendation I have for improvement involves access to pulling and termination of the power wiring. I installed the 22KW unit - largest in the series - 100A wire. Based on the conduit opening size and location, pulling this size wire and landing it was not an easy task. Making bends where it entered the unit in relationship to the internal equipment shrouds located nearby was quite difficult and routing the wire to the termination points requires a contorsionist. Otherwise, this is a nicely designed unit.

Our electricity was off for the first time since installing the Generac on Christmas morning, lasting for about six hours. For me personally, the Generac paid for itself that morning!!!! So many things to get done and family arriving. I was able to get everything done with ease due to the Generac. I felt so blessed!!

Great product. Works by itself even maintenance testing. Gives us great peace of mind to know we will always have electricity. We had no electricity for a week a couple of years ago due to ice storms and it was awful. When 30,000 + other homes don't have it either it was hard to travel on ice or find vacant hotels. Believe me a camping heater won't keep your home warm. Tried it. A neighbor was out of state during storm and he came back to broken water pipes and water and electric damage! Anyone on the fence should get one before it's needed. Get this installed by Generac company certified for maximum quality. Failing to plan is planning to fail.
