I did my homework prior to my purchase and the only negative thing i could find is that it was loud when running under a full load. Well, i decided i could sacrifice noise for comfort and let me tell you, I LOVE IT!!!!! This unit runs my entire house without fault!!! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. When my Father-in-Law saw i had ordered one, he too got on the band wagon and is very pleased with his as well. We both loose power quite often and as far as i am concerned, it has already paid for itself after multiple power outages. Don't loose any sleep over deciding, GO GENERAC OR GO BROKE!!!!!

Due to the long time it took to get gas service installed, my generator has only been in service for about a month. So far it has done its thing by starting and running once a week for self diagnostics. I have had one outage on my outside electrical service caused by a small animal, and the unit started in a few seconds and carried the house until external service was restored. Transfer back was very quick, so quick that I did not even notice the transfer and did not need to reset the clock on my microwave.

We have had four power outages since we installed our Generac 22KW generator. It is fueled by our propane system (1000 gal tank) so we never need to worry about refueling it. The automatic test feature provides the confidence that it is ready to step in to provide the power to meet all of our needs when we loose electricity due to grid failure. Peace of mind!

It's early times yet, so I'm not ready to rate the installation and equipment. We had some qlitches getting the stand built, in part because the Generac team wouldn't do it (too high, they said) and we had to contract that job out. Attaching the stand to our house turned out to be a bad idea, because the house shakes whenever the generator comes on. The stand should, if possible, be free-standing. Ask me after it's been through a hurricane.

After ordering our generator I found out on the Generac website there is an offer I get the warranty extended 2 years if you contact Generac before you order. It seems to me if you buy the product new from an authorized dealer you should be treated the same.

We love our general. It was one of the best investment we made for 2016. We should done the same in New York when we lived there. We recommend every one who lives along the Gulf Coast of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia to get one for their home.

We are so glad we purchased the Generac standby generator. We lose power at least 2-3 times a year and can last from couple of hours to days. Since installation the power went out twice and worked like a charm. The first time it ran a little rough, I called generic and explained the issue and they said the rough idle was due to moisture in the air filter. A common problem and generic was woking to rectify that issue.The service crew came out a day or two later and changed the air filter It ran with no problems.

It was almost three months from the installation to the first real use of the generator and it performed flawlessly. Our power was out for nearly an hour with the generator providing power after about a 30 second delay. I am just wondering why I waited so long to have one installed. My only issue is that I would like to have a set of outlets on the generator to power items outside.

Last year we had a very bad winter for power outages. My husband was very sick and got very upset every time I had to carry 5-gallon cans of gas to the house for our old generator. My brother in Ohio had had a Generac generator installed and loved it's ease of operations as he has MS. We decided to go the same route. The week it was installed my husband died, he never saw the finished job. Two weeks later we lost power and it worked great. It was one of the best things we ever did. It also adds a great selling point when I go to sell. In our area we have power losses many times a year, some times for weeks..I also found out we have one at work now,too............ After Katrina in south Mississippi we were without power and water for 23 days. It was 105 degrees for several days. Miserable. Since then every time a storm would move into the Gulf my tension levels would go off the charts. We decided to fix the problem. In the fall of 2016 we installed a Generac 22kw propane fueled generator. Within 4 months we have lost power 5 times due to tornadoes and storms. The last outage the generator ran 10 hours straight with no problems. We were the only house in our area with lights. It was awesome! We don't worry about power failures anymore. We love this generator and it's one of the best investments we've made. I can't stress enough the peace of mind we have now. Thank you Generac for standing by!!!
