I am very satisfied with the unit itself, however I would never recommend the company used for the installation. They were the worst, most disreputable company ever (ACS Home Services of Tampa Florida) It took us 7 months to get it installed after signing the contract, and they demanded payment in full before they would even deliver the unit to our house after a $1,500.00 deposit at signing.

We are so very happy to have our new generator. It's a peace of mind that we never had before. The WIFI and app really make it easy to use and also to know if any maintenance is due as well as testing itself every week. We love it!

I've always been impressed with Generac generators, so they were my only desire when we were financially ready to purchase a whole house emergency generator. We have a DD/ID adult son, so having one was important to us for his sake.

I have had it running for about year and a half, I do like the generator in general, starts and switches very smoothly, and shuts down once power comes back up very well, great protection. The App I have not been able to connect to generator.

It's neen 1 year since my install and all is great! we lost power a couple times and without fail the generator kicked in! So nice not having to worry about sump pumps, freezers, etc. Worth the investment!

Living in Maine we experience the uncertainty of power outages. We are retired and the ease and peace of mind during storms has been wonderful. Wish we'd invested years ago.

I recently purchased the 18k whole house generator due to the recent weather events and various power outages. I like the Generac reputation as well as the warranty.

I feel like I can relax when there is a power outage caused be a winter storm or wind storm which seem to affect the power quite frequently in my area. I no longer worry about losing my heat in the winter.

This month will be 1 year since activation of the unit. Expecting the installer to contact us for maintenance, but so far, nothing. Maybe they will contact in the coming weeks of May.

I had this installed the end of March and have already had one brief power outage but the generator started within 2 minutes! This is truly peace of mind.
