This is a company that keeps you in the loop. I had ongoing communications with them on installation, training, and follow-up. Terri, in the office had so much knowledge about the process, she was my go to whenever I had a question. Whole house generator is pricey, but you get what you pay for and this gives us peace of mind.

I live in an area where our power goes out at least once a month. To know that we do not have to worry about that anymore is awesome. The installer we had that was qualified to install by Generac was very knowledgeable and informative. He let us know what he was doing throughout the entire insolation process. After the install he went over everything very thurally and insured us that if we need anything to call him! Great job Generac!

Product is an insurance policy making sure you have power when a failure occurs. Installation prices are high and some installers want almost as much to install the unit as the unit cost. When power fails, the unit is automatic and restores whole house power.

I have had the 22KW Generac Generator almost a year now and has worked great when the power went off on several occasions. Living in a new neighborhood we have had outages do to construction in the area. The latest one was for about 5 hours, the generator did the job of keeping my house powered. The only way I knew it was running was it sounded like someone was cutting my back yard with a lawnmower. I highly recommend this generator for your whole house needs. I gave a 4 star on value for price not for the generator, but the installation cost.

Have wanted one for a long time. We lose power often due to weather and we have a high water table in most years. We have two sump pumps to handle the drainage in the basement, and our basement was partially finished. The last time we did not notice the power went off and woke up to 18" in our basement, ruining everything including drywall that had to removed 24" from the bottom. We had our Generac installed in October, and it has already responded in a power outage. Feel safer with it.

I love everything about this product except one thing.....there is no app or internet based access to my Generator. When we are away sure would be nice to click on my Generac App to keep status of what's going on with my unit.....Seems this would be a given in this day and age of technology. Let's hope that this will be available in the near future and be adaptable to my unit. Also I was unable to upload my pics as you have a 5MB limit...my mobile phone takes HDR pics and are bigger than your limit - that's unfortunate...maybe just restrict the total size instead of the pics themsleves.

Our new generator is a comforting sight and adds a level of security knowing our home will stay warm and comfortable regardless of weather and severe storms. We occasionally travel for business and have to leave our pets home for the duration. Knowing our home will never be without power and heat during the winter months is a huge relief. We live in a heavily tree lined region in upstate New York that experiences above average power outages due to high winds and severe weather. This generator is well worth the money. Bill M.

Replacement unit for lightning damaged unit on my home. Great replacement. No problems. Just wish I had an indicator for service in my home. Unit is a bit hard to get to for my age. My last unit had that feature included in the original installation.

We live in the south and figured this would just be a "what if" we had ice or snow product. Rarely do we have a winter in which we encounter a power outage from ice on the lines. However, we have already been grateful for having the Generac installed. Every other Wednesday it comes on and tests itself like we had the electrician program it to do as was specified in the instructions, but twice we've had the power just pop off for other mechanical reasons in our area. In fact, last night the generator kicked in at 11:45 p.m. when the transformer outside decided to "die." It took the electric company till 2:20 a.m. to get the power back on. We were glad for the heat, don't laugh, but we had a low of 32 degrees last night and for us that's a little low to be without heat. Also, we didn't have to worry about the food in the frig. The other time was during the fall, when the temperature and the humidity were both still very high. We were able to enjoy the afternoon inside while cool and relaxed. My dad is 92 and I am also retired so having a comfortable home is very important to us and our generator makes that all possible. Don't hesitate to buy a Generac. It's reliable and wonderfully efficient.

I'm happy with my system. I haven't put it to full service but my son mentioned it had kicked on when the neighborhood had a power outage. The service installation personnel was very professional and knew his product . Mr. Woodrome took the time to explain things, his recommendations, work ethic is commendable. He set my doubts to rest.
