Our Generac generator was just installed 5 days ago and today we had the ‘Run Through’. The generator runs perfectly! The generator installation was done by For-Tech Electric located in Lakewood, NJ. They took care of everything including getting the permits and scheduling the final inspections. I will forever sing For-Tech’s praises. Dave priced our unit out, Rachel kept us abreast with everything that needed to be done, and the guys that did the actual installation were excellent. (And speaking on Rachel, she is loyal to her employer to a fault. She is so good at what she does....so knowledgeable and just a wonderful person!) Thank you Generac and thank you For-Tech Electric!

The generator has performed flawlessly each time we have lost power. It's a great source of comfort knowing we have this backup at the ready. We were concerned in advance about how loud it might be, based on some neighbors machines, but our Generac is considerably quieter than we thought it would be.

In a rural setting it's common for trees along the road to fall and interrupt power. The GENERAC automatic stand-by generator system can produce enough wattage to supply household power sufficient to maintain refrigeration, lights, air conditioning, TV and internet connection automatically. This is huge when living in, and surviving, power outages that can last weeks during storms with extreme heat and humidity in sub tropical Florida. In many areas, such as mine with acreage, it typically means some level of self reliance, so from a trade standpoint, (as an electrician) I found this unit relatively easy to install and connect to my existing utility power system.

The installation and initial burn-in went very well. We ran our ground source heat pump in A/C mode to give it a good test and the 26kw unit was up to the task. We are confident that we can travel without concerns for our pipes freezing while we're away. It could be improved if there were a way on the App to configure it to send email to the owner when a new item is entered into the History Log. As I write this I note that the unit has been off-line via wifi for the past 10 days and I had no idea.

Built my home in summer of 2020, installed the 22kW Generac onto the home and I have never been so happy. Every outage it performed perfectly, every month, it tested perfectly on the 1st. Every time I use the APP to check it or update the maintenance, it’s all good to go. I can’t say enough good things for this product. People, if your just not sure, do it, you won’t be disappointed.

I am very happy with the installation labor used . Explained operation and expectations. Happy with operation of generator. It can handle whole house with 5 ton and 3 ton ac unit. Its a spend of money, but I'm happy with everything. Paid for extra 5 year warranty. Its a machine it will break down. The installers will be notified of improper operation immediately.

I am very satisfied with the product, but ... The installation manual needs to be re-written. It appears that everything is easy once the new owner has connected the device to his home network. FYI - not everybody has Internet or a home network with WiFi. The book says that if you don't have WiFi, go to their website, but the website asks for your serial number and then your SSID from your home network and will go no further. OK, call the 24/7 help line to get a super secret Activation Code. OK, but the work workflow tree doesn't include any reference to entering an Activation code. OK - just bumble along. The sequence of inputs don't follow what is in the book. At one point it demands that I insert my USB. What USB? There is nothing in the book about a USB. OK, just escape out of that. Stumble along, and things do eventually work out. They really need to hand a new generator and their installation manual to a capable first time installer and notice where he gets tripped up.

The installation and testing of this unit was flawless ... apart from a little hiccup in connecting the wifi, but the technicians soon had that figured out and the wifi tracking/performance monitoring system now works very smoothly. We expect that this unit will deliver all of the reliable service we hope for from it.

The 24KW Guardian is a perfect match and will handle everything we have during an outage. We used Current Electrical Services (Lacey Springs, AL) for the purchase and install. They were the best price out of four Generac recommended companies. Mike Coons was very thorough when it came to explaining capabilities and answering questions. Patrick and his crew only took 5 hours to install the generator and transfer switch. They cleaned up before they left. The install looks great!

Just built a 6,000 sq ft home on the main street in historic Hot Springs National Park Arkansas and this unit will do the job. Installed reasonably easy and tested perfectly. Looking forward to never using it but given our history here and ice storms fell I will be calling on next winter. I feel better knowing it's there
