The generator has been installed for just over a year. We live in a rural area where we have frequent power outages and the unit is very reliable. It is located next to the main entrance to our house and looks great, the running noise level is very reasonable. There was a lot of work that needed to be completed before the generator could be installed & hooked up. There were three men and they stayed busy all day. The generator runs and works great. It performs it's weekly test run without any interaction. Wouldn't trade it for anything Lew

We have had this unit 7043 installed almost 2.5 yrs ago. This year alone it has been on line 3 times, the longest is about 10 hrs. It has started every time when it should have and has shut down appropriately. VERY DEPENDABLE Would be nice in history if they showed how long on generator power each time.

I live within 75 miles of the coastal Carolinas. I've finally had all I can take of losing my power. I couldn't tell you the number of times I have watched the commercials for Generac products at the beginning of every hurricane season and say, "Yeah, I seriously need to install a whole house generator." Then we would get hit and there I am without power! Well portable generators have their limits, not to mention my age, so I finally got smart and purchased a whole house Generac generator. WOW! To think that it was so easy and the greatest bang for the buck! Made in the USA (Quality) Low fuel consumption (Economical), and a very quiet unit when it is running. That was the biggest surprise for me. A gracious warranty and great customer service. I call them the friendly problem solvers. They will call back to follow up and assure your complete satisfaction. My hats off to Generac Corp. and all of the folks that produce such fine products!

I'll have to write another review after our first power outage. Just had the unit installed and can't comment on too much yet but it does give us some peace of mind and just a bit of worry that it will actually do what it's supposed to do. Chris, our startup rep, was so knowledgeable - I doubt we'll remember 3/4 of what he told us but if we need him, he can walk us through whatever it needs. Shouldn't even say this but I'm almost hoping for a power outage!

Nice looking unit, and solid installation. Our installer was excellent, and did a very professional job. I wish the case had some heavy insulation inside to help dampen the sound (like Cummins does). Generac claims the unit is quiet, and quotes 65 decibel readings. Using a professional decibel meter I'm getting 85 decibels, with higher readings under load. Not much help from Generac when I called to ask if there was some way to get it down to the advertised 65 decibels. So if noise isn't an issue for you, it's a great generator. But if you're in a subdivision of closely spaced home like we are, you certainly won't have many friends left after the thing has been hammering away and disturbing everyone within 3 or 4 houses of you! I strongly suggest finding one you could listen to before you buy.

I used a Generic generator for the last 13 years in a response trailer in emergency callouts. I didn't hesitate to go with Generac when we built our house 5 1/2 years ago. The transfer switch panel was installed when the house was built but for some reason we waited until now to have the generator installed. My wife doesn't like the camping mode when we lose power...... I can't believe how incredible this generator is. Even though it is brand new and we haven't had the chance too test in a real time power loss, it worked flawlessly when the electricians tested it. My local electrician who is also the one that wired my house when it was built has been incredible. Thanks Danny!!!!!

I love on Corpus Christi Texas. After being without power for 8 days after Hurricane Harvey. I decided I needed to get one. I have a handicapped son and need to have power for his equipment. I was just installed last week. Installation went great. Will was very helpful from start to finish. Unit looks great. Works great. Peace of mind now. Best Investment.

My 22K Guardian was installed just last week. I have already had a chance to witness it's seamless functioning as we had a brief power outage yesterday morning! Incredible! The unit worked exactly as advertised and demonstrated at installation. This Generac is going to provide a wonderful peace of mind as hurricane season rears its ugly head! I must put a plug in for 1Stop Generator shop. 110% satisfied with this company. Every individual from sales, to installation, to billing, has been exceedingly friendly and helpful. We had a major ice storm in October 2020 in Oklahoma and we were without power for 7 days. Living in the country that seem like a lifetime. We are a total electric home and that includes the well pump. No electricity means no well pump and that means no water ! We decided to invest in a Generac and we are so happy we did - it is worth all the money we paid to have peace of mind. Over the 4th of July 2022 we had a power outage for 2 1/2 house. It was 99 degrees outside but with OK humidity, it felt like 105. Your house can heat up pretty fast but as soon as the power went off, the generator started up and we back up and running with electricity. I highly recommend investing in a Generac !!!
