I had a whole house generator installed for 2 reasons, I have a health issue requiring electricity for my CPAP machine to work and with frequent power outages and I wanted the peace of mind that I would have during the night if my power went out. I had a a whole house generator at y previous residence and it was nice knowing I had power when there ere outages.

Had a Guardian 24kw generator installed about 1 yr ago by Ambrose Electric. Installation went very smoothly and has a very acceptable appearance. Initial oil change and service check is simple. Everything is easy to get at. We have had two short term power outages since installation and everything works pefectly. Our house is total electric and we have no problem living normally during outages. Well pump, water heater, clothes dryer and electric heat all operate normally although we do take care to limit burner/oven usage on the stove if the electric heat is in use, for example. The Generac handles it all with no strain. My one complaint is with the exercise program. It runs for only five minutes under no load. This causes moisture in the air to condense into the oil. Particularly in the winter. I spent 50 yrs as a Diesel and heavy equipment mechanic. Moisture in oil is never acceptable, despite what Generac claims. Originally set to exercise weekly I changed it to monthly and on those days I trip the main breaker to put the unit under load for 30-60 minutes. Unit is exercised and the oil stays moisture free. All-in-all an excellent unit and it is great not having to get up in the middle of a winter night, or any other time, and go hook up a portable generator.

When I was looking at a new generator for my home - I looked around and searched many reviews. Happy to say that I chose one of the best - Generac. Even with the COVID issue going, on the team from my dealer did a great job in coming out and getting the install and start up done beautifully. The unit is exactly what we had hoped for. Looks smart, easy hook up, with just the right amount of technology added in. Thanks to the sales and install team for giving me a great product at a great price.

I decided to get a generator after my husband passed away. We had a gas powered one, but knew I couldn’t start it. Best decision! I was worried about the winter & being in a cold house with my old dog. Possibly snowed in. Well worth it for peace of mind. Installation by Corbin Electric was quick and efficient. Wonderful experience, everyone was so helpful.

Great product does the whole house very quiet running and quality from top to bottom Trinity generators also installed the unit they were very friendly and thorough in the installation and they are a certified Generac installer and dealer I highly recommend the Generac product and the Trinity generator company

Just had it installed today 5/15/18 and very impressed with the way it's constructed the contractor was honest and professional he accidentally delivered the wrong size generator which was a 22kw which he originally recommended a 16kw but he said 22kw is better but it cost more but he worked it out where the monthly terms would be the same I would just be paying 4 months longer after the 36 month term,He explained how everything worked.

I placed my order on Nov. 6, 2020 with Corbin Electric for a 22kw backup generator. They took a 5k deposit and told me there was a backlog of orders and my instal would not be until 3/21. March 2021 came and went with no word from Corbin Electric. I contacted them and they said they had sent a email about install being pushed back to July 2021, turns out they had my email Address wrong (possible clerical error as my email address never changed). On July 9th their installer arrived to install the gas line for the generator. I was advised that I would have a pressure inspection with the city on 7/16/21. Their installer didn’t have what he needed to complete the job on 7/9 and told me to Call the office to get someone back before 7/16 so my inspection could proceed. They didn’t come back until until 7/16 and changed my inspection to 7/21/21. Immediately upon passing inspection I notified Corbin electric it had passed and was ready to be turned on. They said they would get back to me with a date to initialize the generator and do the orientation. After a week or so they scheduled me for initialization and orientation on August 16th. August 16th arrived and I FINALLY have a generator I can use now. This whole process took way too long and Corbin Electric never even secured the generator to the concrete pad I had installed which their installer told me they would do when I inquired. While I haven’t needed to use the generator yet, it appears well built. I would caution anyone using Corbin Electric to be prepared for very long delays from the time they take your money until the time you have an operation generator. In my case from 11/6/20 to 8/16/21.

The features concerning the generator and transfer switch are impressive. Especially the on board keypad programming and Mobile Link WIFI access to monitor the unit. Overall I think the 24KW will well serve our needs during an outage and our future needs.

Had the unit installed just before Hurricane Harvey hit Texas. The automated transfer switch is a blessing. When the power got knocked out at 2:30 AM it kicked in immediately. So responsive I didn't even need to reset the timer on my coffee pot or alarm. It performed perfectly for over 32 hours. We run on propane and followed our propane suppliers recommendation to increase the tank size to 500 gallons

My 22k standby was run for the first time today. My install contractor ran all the tests and walked me through everything I needed to know. I travel quite frequently and always had a concern about my family being alone in a power outage...which happens quite frequently in our area. I am completely satisfied with the purchase and with my contractor. Peace of mind is a great thing!
