Purchased your 10,000kw unit a year ago through Home Depot and was installed by electrician recommended by Home Depot. It was very expensive having new panel put it, etc. In the past year it has come on about 6 times and has worked well. During last ice storm noticed it was loud and sputtering snd seemed like it was ready to stall out. Propane tanks are full. This morning with Nor’easter it came on but sputtered loudly and ran unevenly and sounded like it was ready to stall out. Ran outside to shovel around it to make sure it was clear of snow. Furnace and lights kept dimming as it sputtered. Disappointed to have problems so soon. I will be paying this off for a couple more years so needing somebody to fix what is wrong is discouraging so soon after purchase. Cannot recommend this product if these problems persist.

Just had it installed today 5/15/18 and very impressed with the way it's constructed the contractor was honest and professional he accidentally delivered the wrong size generator which was a 22kw which he originally recommended a 16kw but he said 22kw is better but it cost more but he worked it out where the monthly terms would be the same I would just be paying 4 months longer after the 36 month term,He explained how everything worked.

We are very pleased with this generator. We have not had a need for it yet, but are very confident that it will operate as we were instructed. We are also very pleased with the electrician in his installation. He is very knowledgeable and precise with his work.

Purchased this unit for peace of mind should we be subjected to a power outage. Installation was completed in one day. The unit has a small footprint and blends in with the A/C units. The web application is simple use, and the price point was very reasonable.

I have been wanting a Generac automatic stand by generator since 2012 when we had a week long power outage during the hottest week of the year! The unit was just installed, and 5 days after installation we had a brief power outage and it started right up and powered the house exactly as it's supposed to. Now I can go on vacation and not worry about my basement flooding, or my beloved koi fish dying from lack of filtration and oxygen in the event of a power outage. I am also an otr truck driver, and now I don't have to worry about my wife and kids being with out power when I am gone.

We just moved into a 15 year-old house with a sump pump and could not afford to have the electricity go out. I knew Generac's are excellent, in part because my 2 brothers and I have identical 5500 watt portable generators which have worked flawlessly for years, and in part because I have never seen a product with thousands of reviews be so uniformly recommended. In fact, the buyers actually requested I include the portable generator with the house as a condition of the sale. When we decided to protect the entire house because of the sump pump, we found a Generac preferred dealer nearby who gave us a fair price and exceptional service, and our extremely happy with our purchase.
