That's what I like. The generator is always ready for action. Electricity fails, generator cuts on, never misses a lick. Very happy. I have installed three of these on three different homes and have never regretted it. In fact I have increased the value of each home.

This is the third Generac I have owned and have been satisfied with all three. The area of Hawaii I live in is plagued with power outages from a few minutes to multiple hours. The generator starts automatically and is relatively quiet. I like the self maintenance/startup feature that I have set for once a month (default is once a week). Seems to provide economical use of propane.

We live in a forest. Ice storms and heavy snow can take out electric for days at a time. With our generator the unbelievable inconvenience is a thing of the past. We spend the winter in Florida so use the cell phone system to notify us whenever it starts or more importantly whenever it doesn't. So far it has started every time but it is good to know that I will know if it doesn't start up.

Bought two and had them istalled by certified electrician. Had a little electronic issue on one unit and and called generac support. Isolated issue and they had warranty man on location and the issue was fixed in two days from the call. All equipment will have problems from time to time. I will use generac for my office shortly as support and warranty follow up were excellent

I live in the Turks Islands. We lose power frequently and we considered buying a generator for years. Luckily i waited and purchased a gereac model. When we lose power the transition is almost unnoticeable. Within seconds the power is on. I have two central air conditioners, one split AC unit and all the normal household appliances. 22kw guardian seriesunit powers it all. The unit is very quiet too. Down side. When we lose power all my friends come over and empty my wine cellar

This is my 3rd home and my 2nd whole house generator. Never had one issue with the installation or operation. When I sold my 2nd home, the whole house generator was mentioned by the buyer as the reason they purchased my home. Value, confidence and security are instantly added.

We are very pleased with our Generac generator. It was installed in April 2017 and by the end of May we had already seen the benefits of our Generac 3 times! It is quiet, and the switch over from normal to generator is seamless. Great product - so glad we purchased!

Professional interaction with installer, Spectrum electric. They know the Generac product and how to install it inside and out. Only one instance of power outage since installation. Generator performed perfectly for approx 1.5 hours during outage and kept house comfortable including heating units operation. My only complaint is that the unit is noisier than expected and location between houses amplifies the noise during operation.

Fortunately we have not had occasion to use our generator in the very short time we have had it but it is so nice to know that when the occasion happens we will be ready. We have been through hurricanes with no power for a couple of weeks and this would have been wonderful to have. The only time we needed customer service they came through immediately, telling us the easiest way to move the generator was to insert pipes into the holes in the bottom of the frame and have four people carry it. Simple solution to our biggest problem! Maybe they will add that to their instruction manual for future buyers who are not able to get fork lifts onto the site. Thanks Generac for making our life a lot easier and less stressful here in Southeast Texas!

I can only respond to the monthly start-ups and the comfort of having it in place for outages. I have not needed for any amount of time yet and can only hope it stands up to its first test under fire ;) The remote access / smart phone option should be standard equipment...its 2017..someelse will beat you to the punch and steal some of your business, you need to stay on top!
