I live in north Louisiana, and while we don't get the beating the guys do down south from hurricanes we do get a ton of tornados, high winds, and torrential storms, and we lose power all the time, often for days, due to our antiquated power infrastructure. We purchased this unit for our home after we experienced a tornado that came through our town last year. We have been more than pleased with the appearance and features of our unit. The Wi-fi feature is especially nice to have. We feel more than prepared for any weather that may cause a long term power outage in our again.

Hopefully we won't need to use it :) The installation was professional and easy. The Generac looks very nice, no need to hide it behind a fence or landscaping. Gives us piece of mind and security knowing that in the worst of storms, our power will not go out. Good to support a locally made product!

Two days ago we had a 26KW Guardian whole House Generator installed by Riverside Electric Cincinnati. The install went extremely well and the installers were knowledgeable, professional, friendly and very thorough. Everything looks and functions very well. The morning after we had the generator installed high winds took down power lines in our area and we lost electricity. The generator kicked in just like it should and it powered up our house within just a couple of minutes. We are very happy !!!

I purchased the Guardian 18KW Whole House WI-FI Enabled Model. It looks Awesome and it kicks on every Monday at 10am for a test. The peace of mind it gives me is immeasurable. Every time there is an ice storm or a rain storm, I am not worried in the least that I will lose power. Just waiting for the storm ! ha ha

Just had the Generac 18KW GUARDIAN-NO T/SW AL whole house generator installed yesterday. Haven't had a chance to see it in motion, but it gives us great peace of mind knowing that should our power go out our home heating and sump pump will continue to work as needed. we plan to do some traveling so being away from home at times we won't have to worry about a flooded basement or food in the freezer going bad if the power were to go out. I also need to mention the added value to our home should we decide to sell this house. Having a generator adds extra value. Thanks Generac.

This brand new unit installed yesterday, 12/23/24, will not stay running and smokes after a short lived start up. Shows a code of 1207. Panel light on, power light and auxiliary switches are on. Air cleaner duct not attached, back rail of unit bent and unit has small dents upon receipt.

This product is actually what we needed. We now feel comfortable that if the power goes off, we will be OK. My wife needs oxygen. and we cannot afford to lose power. I recommend Generac to anyone considering a whole house generator or any product available from Generac.

So happy to have this unit installed today. There is a Generac at my workplace and it is seamless in a power outage. Trying to maintain power with a pull start mobile generator has become too much for my husband to handle. This purchase will allow us the ability to travel and not worry about the what ifs in storm season.
