Last year we had a 39 hour outage from a storm, so we paid $26,000 for a Generac Generator. 3 months later we had another outage. The generator went on and lasted 20 minutes, then had a catastrophic failure, spurting oil out everywhere. It had to be replaced with a new generator, AFTER our power was back on, after being off for 24 hours. Very Unhappy.

Our electric supplier has been unreliable for the 39 years that we have lived in our home. Finally decided to purchase an automatic generator. Have not had the chance to use it, since it was installed, but now have the peace of mind that if our electric does go off in the future, we have the generator to power our all electric home.

We had the unit installed to replace an older outdated unit. This new unit was powerful and installed in 4 hours! We were hit by Hurricane Irma two days later and of course lost power. The unit cranked right up and provided the whole house with all the power we needed. It ran both large a/c units and the water pump along with everything else necessary to be comfortable. It runs very quiet for such a powerful unit. I recommend this unit with no reservations. It ran for three days straight before the power was restored. Life saver! thank you.

After dealing with major hurricanes and electric company outages, we finally purchased our Generac Guardian Series WiFi enabled 22kW whole house generator with Automatic Transfer Switch. We could not be happier, since it runs on propane and is automatic. We no longer have to deal with our portable generator, which was good, but such a hassle. No more need to drag out our 15kW portable generator from the garage, chain it down, then continually fill it with diesel fuel, if you can find it. Once that was done we had to run multiple extension cords from the generator to all over the house. When up and running our 15kW was very loud and couldn't power our either of our large central air conditioners.

Brent at Browning Power Systems in Michigan and Clint at Generac were awesome to work with! Brent gave us a couple of options for generators. He was on site thru the entire installation & took care of all the little details. Greatly appreciated all he did & look forward to having a working generator when needed!

My wife and I consider this a luxury , we waited 47 years to get this ,as there were always other priorities. Here in our little town of Saline , we loose power all too often. Amazing less than 24 hours after completing the hook up the power went out. Oh, but not here , wow I almost slept through it . Than we were so excited it was hard to get back to sleep..... The GENERAC 24kw backup generator provides home coverage in the case of an outage. Boyland Electric of Laytonsville, MD staff provided excellent service during decision and installation process. The installation, by Boyland Electric, exceeded our expectations as they arrived on time each day and kept the working area clean of debris throughout the installation. This is a wonderfully looking brand new generator, I just wished it could run and generate electricity. I'm offered a five year warranty, but the service people say it will be 2+ weeks before they can get to it, and it will cost $250 for the first hour of diagnosis. No point in saying anything critical about the produce since you will not post a critical review. American quality is a thing to behold, and mourn.
