I have arthritic hands, so this mixer is a lifesaver. You can even use it to shred chicken for tacos! Love how it comes with 2 stainless steel bowls,5.5 and 3 quart, along with different attachments. My wife does a lot of baking and cooking in general, she instantly fell in love with this and loved all the extras it came with. It makes cooking so much easier and does most of the work for you. its heavy duty so we know it will last, works strong, and has easy-to-use speed levels. It came perfectly packaged, easy to handle, and well-protected. I would highly recommend this and is a MUST-HAVE for any kitchen.

Has to be turned off an allowed to cool before it can be used again and that is with it being on low speed. I am afraid to use any higher speed.This was a Christmas gift from my son and his family. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted a Kitchenaid mixer for about 20 years. I finally got myself one. I love it so much. I purchased it on sale and it came with an extra bowl and whip attachment for it along with a spoon made to help clean it and push down the sides. It helped a lot having the extra bowl. My daughters and I have made cakes and icing, brownies, cornbread and all kinds of goodies. Next we are doing cookies. I love the 1/2 speed option on it as well.

My schedule has been so that I couldn't spend any time in the kitchen, until today. I decided to make bread, and let me tell you, the mixer was AMAZING!! The dough hook did it's job, and I loved being able to regulate the speed from 1/2 up to 2. It was nice to not have to knead! Now that it's "broken in", and my schedule has calmed down, I can't wait to use it more!

I do enjoy it for the most part, however when making my sourdough bagels it is unable to keep up with kneading the dough, it bogs downs and overheats and the part that hold the bowl wobbles as the dough hook kneads. Yes I only use it on the low setting no more than two as instructions directed.

It really helps me with the tough kneading and when I need to make larger quantities of of anything, it manages to power through! The Aqua Blue is beautiful fits my decor perfectly! It is tall so don't forget to measure the space you want to place it. There are so many amazing attachments that you can get to make more homemade cookies and pasta from scratch! It powered through everything I threw in there! It's exactly what every kitchen needs, very durable and easy to clean! I love everything about this stand mixer!

I love that the mixer lifts for easier access. I like that you can buy different attachments that you can use to make pasta, pastries or even grind meat. It comes with a flat beater, dough hook and 6 wire wise. The color is nice also.
