This stand mixer is amazing. It does take a little learning curve to put the bowl back on but its just getting use to where to hold it to put it on. It has more than enough power for those heavy, thick doughs. Love that it comes with a smaller bowl and whisk for frosting and icing.

I bought this to replace a Kitchen Aid stand mixer I had for 25 years that I loved. The new mixer is not good for bread making. At the recommended speed the dough never comes together on the hook and cleans the sides of the bowl as it should. Part of the problem is the shape of the bowl that is wider than the original so the hook never touches most of the dough. There is no user manual to explain when and how to use the smaller bowl, which will not work with the hook attachment. I am so disappointed - left with an old mixer I loved that no longer works and now a new one that doesn't even seem like a Kitchen Aid product. How far your brand has fallen.

I bought this in August 2023. I have used it about 20 times for making bread. Never over the recommended speed. Today it started grinding then quit. I finished by hand. This is the second of this model to do this but I did get several years of service before the previous one failed. Not a happy camper Sams!

Worth every penny! The only thing I didn’t like is I didn’t have a splash guard and only color was black. It did come with several attachments blender, two whisks and a bread kneading head. The bowl takes some time to adjust but the machine itself is the BEST hands down!

Love this mixer. Bought in 2019 from Sam's. My flat beater is chipping or rating would be 5 stars. Anyone know where I can buy replacement flat beater? I've ordered a couple from Amazon but either too heavy or too wobbly. Wish I could find replacement beater on KitchenAid site but I can't.

The mixer is actually great. I was just disappointed that the 5.5 qt mixer bowl does NOT have the splash guard lid. There's nothing at all. I can order one, and am looking now, but i think people need to be aware of it ahead of time so they could also purchase one. You'd think Kitchenaid could at least include the splash guard for the bowl. That's one of the main things I was looking forward to. Everything else is great.

very cheaply made. It looks like a cheap knock-off version of a KitchenAid. Not at all the quality you would expect. The bowl lift is clunky, noisy and get stuck. attachments were missing, very poorly packaged. I will never recommend KitchenAid to anyone ever again. I will never purchase one ever again. returning this item immediately. do not recommend.

Bought this on sale at Sams club. Attached flat beater on our new kitchen aid stand mixer and the point rubs against the bowl. The troubleshooting directions show an adjustment screw that is supposed to raise the shaft to clear the bottom of the bowl but turning the screw has no affect on the height. Looks like a general flaw in the engineering of the device so I don't think swapping it out will resolve this malfunction. Returning to Sams club, color me dissapointed.

I have loved my Kitchen Aid Mixer for over 40 years, have bought the children one over the years, decided to upgrade to a new one, purchase this one at Sam's Club. This is the absolute worse designed model I have ever used. the Lift is not high enough to clear the bowl, you have to attach the blades while in the bowl and remove while still sitting in the mixture. Makes it impossible to use properly without making a mess. Preparing for Thanksgiving, mixing cake filling, apparently left the beaters on too long, it heated up the beaters so hot it burnt my fingers and left metal shaving in the batter. the beaters are slow to ramp up to begin to mix, the bowl is difficult to mount on the pins and there is no quick removal of the bowl once mounted. Wish I have my tilt head Kitchen Aid Mixer , much better product.

I was so excited for this mixer and it broke my heart to have to return it but I was halfway through a batch of cookie dough, turned it off to add the chocolate chips, and it just died. Wouldn’t turn back on. In-store wouldn’t allow for an even exchange so I just returned it and bought a used one on Facebook. It’s a known issue and from what I’ve read, KitchenAid will make it right but I didn’t feel like dealing with the back and forth.
