[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as open earbuds go, these are simply the best on the market right now. The sound is what you'd expect from Bose as is the comfort and fit. Battery life is great, though not the best on the market for standby time. I have a pair of open earbuds that can stay in the case for almost a year without ever recharging them, or the case. The price is a bit high, which is why I removed one star.

Ordered these open ear buds - hoping that the features (and fit) would work for me. They are exactly what I wanted! I walk 20 miles a week and ride mountain bikes 2 or 3 days a week. I wanted a product that allowed me to listen to music, but still able to clearly hear what’s around me. I also get tired of earbuds jammed into my ear canal - sometimes making my ears sore, not to mention the damage from listening to punk rock too loud. These open buds shoot the sound to your ear canal with surprising clarity. Jazz / classical / rock / podcasts all sound great. No - they’re not noise cancelling, and the sounds isn’t as great as my Bose QC’s, but they’re perfect for what I wanted. Great product - highly recommend.

I have been happy with the sound quality when just using these for music or streaming which I know if the primary intent. However, I bought these to use for work calls via Bluetooth on my pc or my phone. Feedback from listeners is the sound is not good on their end. I do love the open ear style and this was my primary reason for purchasing since I have had ear pain from over the ear headsets and I do not like earbuds. Unfortunately, I have received enough complaints that the form is not outweighing the function for the cost.

First things first. These are not Apple AirPods Pro's. Now with that out of the way, I'll get to what these are, and why I only gave them 4 stars. These are very, very good sounding headphones with an awesome design that keeps them on your ears no matter what you're doing. Very good sounding emphasis here! Not "totally awesome dude", because by design they can't be. Yes, you can hear the outside world with these things on, as well as listen to your tunes etc. That's what they are supposed to do, by design. I like that I can be aware of what's going on around me!!! If you have any doubt as to what you are buying I would reread the Bose description on the website again, because that's exactly what you are getting here. My giving them 4-Stars has only to do with two issues. The first being that these cost $299 which is $50 bucks more than the bar which I believe are the AirPod Pro 2's. So I would have liked to see these priced the most at $249. Second, while the Bose App and software setup was okay on my iPhone I did have to reset the Bose headphones twice to get it right. So be patient and you'll be okay. To add to that if the "seamless" AirPods setup on my iPhone is worth the $249 then how is this non-Apple experience worth more? This all coming from someone who has many headphones at his disposal to take to the gym, and/or on a bike ride. I happily now take these by design paired easily to my Apple Watch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: very lightweight and comfortable, I can wear them longer than any other headphones I have (QCbuds and QC overear included). Sound quality is as you would expect from Bose - great. The bad: I live in NYC and thought these would be great to wear around so I can be aware of surroundings while listening to audio. This works for music, but I can't hear my podcasts clearly enough even with volume turned all the way up. NYC is loud, so this is probably only be a problem in very loud situations, but it was disappointing. Also, I have very sensitive skin and the backs of my ears have gotten irritated where they clip on. A pity bc they really are comfy, so hoping that calms down with time.

I have weird shaped ears apparently because all earbuds I have tried have falled out. I had given up on ever having in ear headphones and living with the hair denting over the ear headphones. My husband convinced me to let him buy these for me for Christmas, and boy am I glad he did. These are AWESOME. They sit around the outside of the ear but the sound is incredible, and oh, they do not fall off my ear. I can now run on the treadmill and listen to whatever I want to because these stay put!

They are not the right earphones for me and my ear. I could press down on the back of the earphones and see exactly where they are supposed to sit but for some reason the physics of my ear doesn't allow that. I'm hoping I'll be able to exchange them for the in ear earbuds.

The first pair they just died on me the second pair y’all sent me to replace .Which I was very, glad about that . But as in the first pair and the second pair, it is hard for me to make phone calls where people could hear me . ( I’m loud too) for some reason and they don’t stay charged long . I do love how they stay on my ears compared to Apple‘s product but there’s just a few kinks that I would like y’all to handle on the next wave. I believe in you, Bose and thank you for your product.
